UnNatural - A supernatural horror game - editing complete, beta testing over

@stsword I have a theory!

Lycanthropes have not inherited the condition, they have simply caught the illness- So that could mean that their kids could be normal. But since this type of illness re-writes DNA (I am assuming) this could mean that the illness would be implemented into the family gene pool, I think that this would mean that it’s possible for future generations of affected family to inherit the illness. Maybe someone’s great grandfather was a Lycanthrope and they have inherited the illness from him? That would make him a werewolf, but maybe a weaker one since he isn’t a ‘Pure’ werewolf?

I could be wrong, but that’s all I’ve got.

@stsword

I add the odd scene like that to fit in with the genre.

Most current unnaturals don’t remember the azure (they tend to freak out due to the immense power of your aura sets off their warning bells).

I’ll add a azure variation too.

@FalconXCII

Thank you :slight_smile:

@God_of_Demonz

Lore represents your knowledge of each monster they result in slight temporary increases to your stats for the duration of the case.

The thread IS long but I like to think its a represents the awesomeness of the game

:wink:

@stsword @trollhunterthethird

If the following paired up here would be the results.

Werewolf (M) x Werewolf (F)= BabyWere.

Werewolf (M) x Lycanthrope (F) = Carrier.

Werewolf (F) x Lycanthrope (M) = BabyWere.

Lycanthrope (M) x Lycanthrope (F) = Carrier.

Note: By carrier I mean they carry the virus within their body but are not a werewolf or lycanthrope though they can infect others with lycanthropy.

That makes sense.

So I’m guessing that since the Werewolf has the Superior Gene structure (Since they are the original holders of the illness.) Their genes are more likely to pass on to child, but if one parent is Lycanthrope than that leaves a chance that the child can gain that parent’s genetics and not the Were-Parent’s genetics.

Sorry for my rant, I feel in the mood to do science today.

@trollhunterthethird

yes the werewolf has the superior gene structure. the chances are higher for the carrier to have the genes if the werewolf is the mother.

@Nocturnal_Stillness I bet this is what Science classes in the world of Unnatural would be like, next module: Why the Twilight books are biologically wrong about Vampires.

@trollhunterthethird

Actually when Victor isn’t killing vampires for the S.R.T. he is holding classes about the true vampire. His class method is he straight up asks who likes twilight then whoever says they do he locks them in the next room with a vampire and lets the rest of the class watch a real vampire in action :wink:

@Nocturnal_Stillness

Got a question after ;stsword ,trollhunterthethird; asked about werewolf kids.

What about azure kids? Would the MC “azure powers(genes)” be carried over to the kids?
What about with another unnatural (Denise, Lakota)?

@Panther

If the MC got with Ashley, Anthony, Austin, Craig/Sarah. Scarlet and Victor any children would have a chance at being an azure. It’s completely random whether your Azure genes dominate or submit to the human genes. Hence why the MC becomes one and Alex doesn’t.

If the MC got with Lakota or Denise the baby would be human. They wouldn’t an azure but Lakota could teach them to use their fae blood. Likewise any children Denise has there would be a chance they get her post-cure abilities.

Decided to do a bit of a project, I’ve decided to do stuff you would find in your old family house after the event of Case Zero.

Here is a drawing that is meant to be by Alexander.

(Female):

(Male):

Not much of a difference but I plan on doing more objects found in your house.

error when i was on the cure, I had roasted the old wolf and was checkin on more cases, it said no selectable options

@trollhunterthethird

very nice and would be quite upsetting for the MC to find.

@God_of_Demonz

hmm odd.

How many cases did you do? Also did you choose to get revenge on the people who caused your parents deaths?

The code *should* send you to the next part if the variable n is greater than 2 and each case sets n + 1 as does revenge so after two cases or revenge and a case you should jump to the next bit.

Oh I’ve got another cosmological question for you, NS.

Do zombies have souls? I mean the sapient ones, the ones who are basically the people they were before but dead and have to do what their animator says.

So do animators make empty meat robots who think like a person who is gone, or can animators rip the souls back to their bodies to enslave them?

i did Almost all of them, was in a relation with Denise, killed the guy in the library(not wheelchair dude) and let the old dude die on his own

Since taking souls gives you an increase to power (and possibly more), how come the *demons* and *angels* effectively tied? Did they also only have the ability to use each power three times? Did the *good* azure only have two wings?

the good ones took the souls of sinners, so they also got more wings

@stsword

Animators put the soul of the sacrifice into the dead body and overrides their memory and personality with that of the dead body.

@God_of_Demonz

Yeah it should have sent you on. Added a failsafe option to continue until I find the issue.

@WolfieGrey

The wings happen naturally over time as your power grows the soul stealing just speeds it up.

Both Angel/demon are limited to use powers. They tied because there were more good azure with six wings and more experience than the bad ones.

So what’s the story behind the Azure? Were they really creatures of god, or another species? How many were there? Did they spread across the globe or were they isolated to certain regions? How long had they been around? Did they believe in a higher power?

@WolfieGrey

I could go into a lot more detail but for now I’ll give you the short version…

God created the Azure to supervise the souls of the dead to ensure they return to where God wants. There were many azure (spread throughout the globe) I’d say roughly 1 azure for every 100 humans at their highest. They’ve been around since before the birth of mankind.

And yes they believe in a higher power and do its bidding (well the good ones did)

Really interested in hearing the long version. So… Is their a god in this world or is that left up to the player? I think the latter, but if their was, after the MC returned a certain amount of souls it would be cool to hear the voice congratulating you and giving you some nice gift, since taking souls gives your power.

Those Fae are going to hate me…
