@NS
That sucks. I may as well have my monster hating character kill jack themselves

You are told he is killed during an escape. But was he really? Hmm teaser perhaps? *evil laugh* lol
One thing I noticed is there isnāt an option to reject Victor. When he sneaks into the PCās room itās just assumed that she likes him when all she had done was take him on a case. There wasnāt actually any flirting on her part yet sheāll kiss him during that scene with no input from the player. This might be confusing for a player that had no idea taking him on that case would trigger a romance.
When playing around with what is done for āCureā itās assumed that the PC is romantically interested in Denise when they hadnāt shown any interest in her and even already had a romantic partner. Iām also getting an error when choosing to speak to her or the partner of my choosing if she isnāt alive but Iām unsure if itās just because you havenāt written that far yet.
line 3145: Invalid string, open quote with no close quote: ā${friend})
While doing āFangs for the Memoryā I get this error when attempting the threaten the people
line 2039: Invalid expression at char 6, expected OPERATOR, was: OPEN_ PARENTHESIS [)]
And one last thing, I feel like those romance specific scenes that happen in episode 5 should get their own āpageā (is that whatās itās called in choice script?) Right now they display directly under whatever case you just finished and and it makes everything look very crowded.
Iāll have to add a reject option. To be honest, Iāve written him as an a$$hole and imo unlikeable person, so was quite surprised that a few people said they liked him. So I was going by the premise that the only people whoād take him on any case would be ones who ālikedā him. But Iāll add an option to just kick his ass (without the flirting).
With Denise, there should have been an option to not be romantically linked. So Iāll look into that.
Iāll fix those errors and add page breaks to the social scenes.
EDIT: just checked the code and Victor should only sneak into your room if your victor_rep = 3, Iāll have to add the option to reject as the end of āSOSā.
Damn why is Victor such a kill-joy if you call him Vicky? Did he have an older sister who called him that and tortured him with that name?
It seems I cant get the last scene with Denise in chapter 6, Donāt know if Iām missing something. Sorry to be a bother! And one more question how do you get the mission āFangs for memoryā? I donāt get the choice on my alpha route. Sorry if this question already has been asked.
Victor is a typical manās man, so obviously referring to him as āVickyā which is a girlās name doesnāt sit well with him lol
āFangs for the memoryā is the follow up case to āSOSā from Episode 3.
Following the guide is there anything you canāt do? If it helps when you get to the start of episode 6 go into stats and send me a copy of the āerror listā and I can double check to see whatās going wrong.
Thanks for the info. I havenāt done yet the werewolf case in chapter 6 because itās unfinished.
Line 1203 invalid ${} variable substitution at letter 1.
I chose to promote Sarah.
Yes he is a badass but still a badass whoād happily push you into a vampire so he can stake it. Heās genuinely NOT a nice person.
and thatās why I like him
@Nocturnal_Stillness
Personally, though this may just be me, I liked Victor not because jerkasses are my particular favourite choice of character but because some (!) of the other potential partners in the game seemed⦠bland, almost, in comparison. He may be a sadist jerk, yup yup, but āis personality is⦠agh, this is like tryinā to explain the colour blue to a rock, stupid brain, think more words⦠uh, itās more⦠defined. Like a stereotype Iām used to - that almost cliche-ness about it makes it comfortable, in that way, yāknow?
@Bagelthief
You say *some* which ones do you find bland?
@Nocturnal_Stillness
I-I, uh, this is kind of embarrassinā to say, so I donāt want to. Iāll back out - it took a lot of my courage already to write that up there, yāknow!
Maybe Iāll come back to it tomorrow when I feel a lilā more confident, I dun want ta leave ya hanginā.
But am I right to assume ya get what I mean otherwise?
