“line 3: denied variable ‘day’” When I tried to look at the stats when talking with my uncle after school.
After taking out the wounded Golem at the crypt (I forget the missions name–sorry!) I get “line 2239: Non-existent variable ‘days’”, is that where the current pathway ends after unlocking your azure powers?
This far, I have to say, I really like it–especially that it has a solid narrative length. Only criticism is that after you reciprocate Sarah’s feelings, the romance pretty much just dies. Regardless of how many times you take her along on missions with you. I was never able to get my Rapport with her beyond 25% no matter how many times I struck up the (brief) conversations that were available with her. Albeit, it’s understandable as there is a lot of story going on, and thus more detail oriented character interaction would be dialed back for a more plot driven narrative.
I did notice several typos, and honestly I feel like a jackass for not having had the forethought to note where I found them–sorry! I’m stupid, I can’t help it!
But anyway, this was REALLY fun, I really liked where it was going, and it kept me wanting to see what would have next. And I really enjoyed seeing the character development progress in response to the choices made, and I didn’t feel like I was on rail road tracks. I’m going to play around with it some more in the mean time while eagerly waiting for the next update! Keep it up! Fun stuffs!
Are you able to defeat ren when you want to master shade? If so, how
@P0rt3R I defeated Ren… cuz im a pimp. I hid within the shade and then I used shards to throw at him and then I think I did something else but I cant remember but I totally kicked his ass, or my own ass since Ren is apart of me, well the MC.
I never had any trouble defeating Ren, Port3r, I’d guess that you didn’t get your form high enough, time to sacrifice some humanity.
That error is now fixed.
Fixed that error. Thanks, you’ll be pleased to know that the romance with Sarah (or Craig) will have more scenes am just trying to get the first draft of episode 6 done before finishing off the LI scenes. (Also you should be able to get rapport of 50% if you tell them that you like them too in the confession - and it actually works now I had that scene set the wrong variable hence why it didn’t change the rapport.

The stats required for the Ren fight depends on whether you can sneak up on him/her as that requires lower stats than a straight up fight.
However technically you win either way the only difference is you win through your own control or Ren forces your power to instinctively grow stronger in reaction to a threat.
I used form and had it 70% but still didn’t beat him
When you get to just before that choice PM your stats (use the error sheet in stats)

Found another little snag, after completing the Golem and Gremlin missions (in that order) and leaving Heathrow airport, and then getting the option to increase your stats again, after I made my choices and started up the next scene I got the message “Uncaught Error line 1518: label ‘mine_left’ already defined on line 1255”

Thanks, its fixed now. I’m still working on the first lot of cases for Episode 6 (which what was causing the error. I removed the errors and added a bunch of [ToDo] any choice that has that has a high chance of hitting an error.

I went all Assassin’s creed and just used a mix of hiding and going up on the roof tops, but I felt sad when Ren left…
It always make me chuckle when people say they miss Ren as they are basically missing themselves lol
