Reactions are the worst, but I’m glad she’s feeling better. I remember my own experiances with reactions *shudder*. I was swelling up like a balloon right in the middle of Maths! (Turned out the chocolate someone passed down to me had some hazardous material in it) And when I got better my teacher gave me a detention for eating in class, the person that gave it to me felt really bad and had stayed in hospital with me through out the whole ordeal.
Does anyone deviate who they choose when they go on cases? E.G Kota for one, Austin another, etc? Or do you all just stick with one npc?
If its the latter, been offered two choices wouldn’t have as much as an impact as they wouldn’t really care about the character that dies (unless they want them to).
Perhaps another thing could be introduced for one of the choice. Possibly a pet could be worked into the early stages of the game. It may be a bit late for that though.

No intention to add a pet in season one (although in-world, it would be possible to make a shade pet in whatever form you want, so if you want to think that inbetween cases your MC spends time with their Shade Dragon/Cat/Dog/Unicorn/etc you may).
The MC in season two (if your season one MC dies) might have a pet, I’ll think about it.
it depends on my character, my main character who I playtest with usually chooses Ashley or Lakota. Other time I split the cases evenly.
I just played it and it was so much fun!
Yes, Wolfie, I think other shade users would be interesting, I even brought up the folklore about Shadow People, but alas NS didn’t bite.
And to answer your question, originally Kota was my go to guy, but that was because with other partners I might get a gamebreaking bug.
Now that I have the option to choose anyone I vary quite a bit, except for some cases in which I have definite preferences: Kota for the airport mission, Scar for the golem, Austin for the ghost case because hey if I have to beat the snot out of anyone it’ll be the guy who shot me if I come out of the unnatural closet.
And maybe I’m getting senile in my old age of thirties, but didn’t we already have a discussion about who we’d want to see die and who we’d want to see live?
As to who I’d save: Well of the gamma members Scar, Kota, and since I almost always go beta add Denise to the list, as for who I’d wish dead no one really: Victor is a bit of a psycho so probably not a big loss to the world, or maybe if we manage to save the good doctor maybe he can go down in a blaze of glory for redemption equals death and he can be reunited with his beloved family again.

There seems to be a bit of inconsistency in the anti-S.R.T group’s name. I’ve seen them referred to as Monsters Rights Alliance most of the time and the Monsters Rights Union by Arthur. Unless those are two different groups and I’m just not paying close enough attention.
Also, when you and Kota visit the memory of when your family was killed the younger me said “It is nothing, just go back to bed,” when my character had chosen to tease him. That should have been “God Alex, don’t be such a baby!”
When doing Trouble with the Fae it says it’s been a month since the suspect was spotted at the airport. When you’re talking to Kota he says it was a week ago that the doctor’s wife and daughter were killed in an accident and that the doctor wants to attempt to revive them. If it was only a week ago there is no way that the doctor could be the suspect that we saw a month ago. Well unless he started going crazy before they died.

It won’t be mentioned in the story but your MC can have one between the scenes if you so wish.
Great news my wife has been a lot better today so I’ve managed to get the first draft of the revenge path done. You can go a bit further to see the next group of cases and see the Intel screen for them but choosing to accept one will cause an error.
