Not that the sword isnāt a traditional weapon of heroes after all, but hey maybe the MC feels like throwing a hunga munga at the golem. Because letās face it, hunga munga is just fun to say. 
Or go Zorro with a whip, or form cestus and box the enemy into oblivion.
It would be an expression of the MCās personality: Do they keep their distance with staff, spear, or whip, do they go up close and personal with cestus or knife?
For that matter, what type of sword does the shade manifest as? Quick Rapier, katana, kris, longsword, scimitar, whip sword, lightsaber?
That last one would probably get the MC teased a little though. lol
I like halberds or double blades, or giant shurikens which can be used as a sword or morning stars or axes or katanas. maybe a fistā¦ yeah a gloveā¦ I can combine focus and form and be al badass in the field with my fists and gloveā¦ my personal favourite would be the combination of a katana, a battleaxe and a halberd
@stsword yes, a shade lightsaber eould be quite funny and do you notice the irony in it? a blade of concerated light made from shadows
@Nocturnal_Stillness you need not nerf the form, maybe just increase the focus abilities, maybe manipulate peopleās shadows? or maybe manipulating shadows is more of a cloak thing? maybe make a use focus or cloak only moments?
The shade blade was original a typical sword now its just more like a blade extending from your arm.
What about using the physical enhancement of Focus with the weapon formed by using Focus to blast the blade arm using Form along at overly high speeds and creating a sort of āSonic Cutterā or blasting the Focus thru the Form in a sort of āScything Blastā like the Getsuga TenshÅ?

The vampire steps back but its too late, at the apex of your swing your unleash your gathered shade. Concentrated along the bladeās edge, the blast is more like a scythe, a thin curved blade of shadow which cleaves the vampire in twoā¦

Also, I had an interesting thought, do the vampires have shadows? If so are they like anchors to this realm of the living? And if so what would happen if cloak could dissapate shadows or focus could gather and break the anchor to the living realm because shade is azure powers bound to shadows right?
Vampires have shadows but there is nothing special to them. But I do like the anchor to the living realm and will repurpose the idea into a new unnatural.
Shadow people? Yay!

@Nocturnal_Stillness maybe you could add shade abilities that require a certain level of stat, maybe even a requirement on more than one ability?
I wish we could have more disguise missions, itās a classic!
I intend to make the abilities more linkable, (for both shade and azure) to allow for a bit more creativity.
