UnNatural - A supernatural horror game - editing complete, beta testing over

Yay! Bleach Is my favourite Anime

OFF-TOPIC ALERT!

I Watch the Anime aswell, I used to Watch it dubed but it seems they have stopped recording :frowning: but now I just Watch subbed.

Got a question.

For the power choice do you keep Shade or recover your Azure powers?

Shade, because my MCs mother took it away for a reason. Plus they look cool and badasss , imagine shade wings that’d be coool.

@trollhunterthethird

Interesting thought about the MCs mother.

@timeaus @stsword

that particular bug is sorted. You can only do 2/3 cases in Episode 5 BUT you now actually get a reputation increase from the case (I took it down to one until I can decide on a third case for that choice) you get to do in Episode 4 (which for some reason I’d forgotten to add!) So the way the reputation works is like this.

***SEMI-SPOILERS***
Episode One -

Not in S.R.T. so no reputation increases.

Episode Two -

You start of with a reputation of 1.

In Unit Alpha you can get +2 increase
In Unit Beta you can get +2 increase

[Maximum Rep possible 3]

Episode Three -

“By Tooth and Claw” you can get +3 increase
“Creepy Statues” you can get +3 increase
“SOS” you can get +2 increase

[Maximum Rep possible 9]

Episode Four -

“Trick or Treat” you can get a +2 increase

“Sticks and Stones” you can get a +2 increase

An additional point is available for former Unit Beta’s who gain the maximum rep in “By Tooth and Claw” +1 increase

[Maximum Rep possible 11 (Unit Alpha) or 12 (Unit Beta)]

Episode Five -

“The Trouble with Fae” - you can get a +2 increase if you kill Sergei or a +1 increase if you can manage to spare him.

“7500” you can get a +2 increase

“Between a Rock and a hard place” you can get a +2 increase

[Maximum Rep possible 15 (Unit Alpha) 16 (Unit Beta)]

@Nocturnal_Stillness

About choosing Azure or Shade. I chose Azure. :-? In the story Azure were good but some went bad. It isnt fair to judge MC will become :-? bad, because some ancestors went bad.
There were good azure too O:)

I’ve made my preference known before, I prefer Shade. Usable more often, 3 times more versatile, theoretically. And yes I noticed that the mother didn’t want us to be an Azure for some reason, I presume she did have a reason for that.

But I do Azure playthroughs too.

We get more rep for taking on gargoyles, who are what, class B or C, then we do for killing a vampire which is class A? That seems a little off.

Why do we get more rep for Beta playthroughs? Do they not think a beta nerd can do the work?

I don’t think meeting the vampire was a part of the plan. That’s probably why reputations don’t increase. After all, you were supposed to find four missing team members, not fight a vampire.

And you technically didn’t find all four, so it’s probably generous for S.R.T. to give you any reputation gains at all for failing.

@stsword

You get the extra point for bringing all the gargoyles back alive. The additional point in Beta comes from going to Denise’s room, you see Alexandra again and she thanks you if you brought back two werewolves back alive. I’m looking for a point where she visits Alphas to balance it out. There will be a scene where you have to visit her in the lab where you find out your immunity from turning into another kind of ‘unnatural’, so will probably give Alpha’s the point there.

Which would be fine, Wyrmspawn, if rep determined how impressed your boss is with you, but by being called reputation it indicates it’s your standing with your peers, and that’s how it’s used when it comes to sparing the Doctor both times.

Gargoyles? Vermin. Vampire? Death on two legs. So name one gamma agent who would be more impressed with capturing vermin than with killing a class A threat, because honestly I don’t see it.

Thanks for the clarification, NS.

@stsword

That a good point, I’ll be revising the rep increases once I’ve finished Episode 6 so will alter it accordingly.

It’s ironic that your rep lets you save the doctor considering that killing him gets you more rep than sparing him lol

I had a thought, It would be really cool if at some point in the game you fly into anger. (Shade only) You turn into a twisted shade version of yourself and loose control. Just a thought.

@trollhunterthethird Yes, that would be a geeat Idea! but I think there should be a humanity maximum before doing it, say…20? :-?

@trollhunterthethird @kaosorer

I’ve got stuff already planned for low humanity :wink:

You have the nicest of thoughts trollhunterthethird.
I always choose azure but plan on choosing shade soon. It’s so difficult to resist all that power though. Plus I like the power where you get to burn a load of stuff.
Extremely useful.

I can NEVER get below 25 no matter what I do…And I spend so much of my humanity all the time!

@Nocturnal_Stillness a bad ending? a shade overload when fighting somebody?

Yknow I find it kind of annoying that when I use a pair of shadeblades on the Lycan in “tooth and claw” I can’t spare 2 seconds to shoot him full of bronze bullets just in case. Sure we’ve got jack to run after but how long does a shot at point blank take?

@jaccob21 Thank you! I mostly just state what’s on my mind .
