Lexy, I believe the only way to go past 50 is to romance the person, so 50 is a good rapport score.

Awesome.

I would be interested

@12lexy12

In the current build “rapport” works like this

10 if you just know them
25 if you are friends
50 if you are flirting
75 if you are romancing

I am planning to change it in a future update to increase when you take them on a case.

50 is flirting? News to my hetero character.

Hmm, maybe instead of fixing that bug where Kota thinks you’re flirting when you aren’t, instead you can add a scene in which we sue SRT for a hostile work environment. :slight_smile:

@stsword

Yeah you should get 50 if your flirting I’ll check the code.

@stsword

The code is right from what I can see. I’ll look at the increases to see if I can see where you gained the extra 1 in character_rep.

@everyone

If anyone would’t mind doing me a favor during your next playthrough make notes of your stats at the end of each episode and e-mail them to me via the in-game link.

I’m doing the same my next playthrough just want various results to compare them.

Yeah those rapport stats are weird, I managed to start a relationship with Scarlet, and my rapport is 10, so Kota likes me 5 times better than my girlfriend in the game.

Sounds like drama is coming soon for you @stsword

Is it sad Roslyn that I can now picture Kota saying “Bros before hoes, man!”

Let’s hope that Scar isn’t clingy. “Why did you partner up with him and not me!”

Oh I noticed that it mentions being in bed with Scar with your “arms and wings” around her. Does that mean the MC has no taken to forming wings of shade? Can we flap them strong enough to fly with enough shade points? lol

@stsword I got a romance with scarlet approximately 16 hours before

So after noticing the third code for a new game plus, it occurred to me.

NS, what do the monster lore ratings actually do? What can the MC do with Gargoyle lore 4 he can’t with 0?

you has gots a points theeere

@stsword

At the start of each case your physical and mental stat are increased by your relevant monster lore then decreased at the end.

So lets say your MC has 56 physical and 27 mental and he goes on the gargoyle case.

With gargoyle_lore at 4 he’ll do the case with a physical of 60 and a mental of 31.

As for the wings they are a azure only thing. So if you got them while keeping Shade its another glitch.

Scarlet’s romance is different you get her attention by either taking her on both cases in episode 5 or just the golem case and beating her in the spar.

Well then it’s a glitch, that playthrough I was still using shade powers.

Hmm, insert joke about Scar just using the MC for sex here. heh

Okay, thanks for the quick response.

I forgot to check in my last azure playthrough, does the MC have two wings by that point in the story? I didn’t remember a notice of “Oh hey you grew another wing!” anywhere along the way, and you start with only one, right?

@stsword

You’re welcome. Thanks for mailing your stats will have a look later.

Oh something occurred to me about the golem mission. It is my favorite as I said, but there is an issue that could be seen as a problem.

All the other missions can be accomplished through either powers or regular human skill. But in the golem mission you have to either use azure powers or form, what if the MC chose to be a master ninja with cloak, or keep shade but never spend humanity to increase it? Since a guy asked about how to defeat the golem I’m guessing some players do make those kind of choices. They might not appreciate a “Well you’re dead because you played the game wrong” scenario.

And in character, why even send another operative out if they’re not going to be given a single weapon effective against the target? If the MC doesn’t go do two operatives get sent on a suicide mission? Even if the SRT uses the excuse that their supersoldier ought to be able to handle himself the other agent ought to at least be able to requisite an anti-material rifle with HEIAP ammunition. Otherwise the SRT is just sending them to look pretty at the golem.

Thats true there was a non-power route at one point which did include a anti material rifle but It didn’t write so well I’ll give it another try later.

My humanity’s 2 only. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE A FULL SET OF SHADE EQUIPMENT AND MAKE IT BADASS

@everyone

I’ve fixed the glitch where Lakota treats you like you’ve flirted with him and also fixed a glitch where in the Scarlet romance scene it mentioned wings even if you keep shade.

my to-do list at the moment is as follows…

  1. add two non-power routes through the Golem case, one normal route and a special “sniper” option if you possess the right stats.

  2. continue Episode 6 [currently setting up the ritual where you will speak to an echo of your father to learn about your past.

  3. add in mentions of how the “other” team did in the cases you don’t get to do [this also includes chances for the player to affect how successful the other team can be - prime example taking Victor on “By tooth and Claw” and “Creepy Statues” means the S.R.T.'s best vamp expert isn’t available and the chance of success will drop. likewise it will increase if you leave Victor ‘free’ to be called on the mission.

  4. us peoples stat data to refine the difficulty of the game increasing checks when necessary and lowering them too if necessary.

  5. lengthen some of the earlier missions due to the fact I added a limit to the ammo because I wanted players to have that fear of running out of bullets…yet I’ve yet to send players on a mission where they can actually run out of ammo so I intend to fix that.

@kaosorer

while a humanity of 2 will mean epic shade power, it also increases the risk of trouble further down the line (Episode 6 is where low humanity can cause as many problems as it can beat down.
