UnNatural - A supernatural horror game - editing complete, beta testing over

@Nocturnal_Stillness what is the good ending?

@Nasdaxow

fixed those errors you mentioned. Two of them I think you have just misread.

  1. The alarm scene, if you choose to find your friend, you bump into the vampire before you find them which is why they aren’t mentioned.

  2. The landing scene also seems correct, you head into Alex’s room and return to the landing then if you head into your parents room you return to the landing once more.

@Talon5505

What choices did you make? I can’t see a scenario where it’d mention she was dead if she survived?

@Everyone

Just did a word count

114,258 words (Episodes 1-5 including the code)

It’s surprising that I’ve been working on this for a year. I’m proud of what I’ve done so far, but I’m aware that Unnatural is average and that it is your guys/girls who make it great so thank you for all your comments over the past 70 pages. You can consider yourselves honorary members of the S.R.T. :slight_smile:

@Nocturnal_Stillness

  1. Just replayed to the scene, and when I pick to search for Sarah that part starts with
    "As quickly as you can manage you make your way towards the lab but find the path blocked. A man stands in front of you, drenched in blood. He smiles and reveals fangs. Vampires are a Class A monster and you should face them in groups no smaller than two. "
    This sounds right when I head to the lab, but for the Sarah choice I think it should start with heading towards Sarahs room (or where she usually hangs out or was last seen).

By the way, an Alpha Testing mode would be nice. Makes it easier to look a particular scene up. Though I have no idea how much work it would be to implement, so feel free to ignore my comment :slight_smile:

  1. In my playthrough I skipped searching in my parents room and directly went downstairs from Alex’s room. With that came the quoted passage where I return to the landing two times because of the missing scene with the parents room.
    So you could say it mainly concerns those like me who already know they won’t find him there and are just to lazy to click through it :wink:

114k words? God… Thats a lot. And Im a member of S.R.T?! YAY WHER DH BADJ

I am the first to get bad ending?!

@kaosorer

You’re the third @stsword and @Nasdaxow both mentioned it.

FUU… [edited and four posts deleted by mod]

@Shoelip - done.

Thanks Havenstone.

@Nocturnal_Stillness I’d say my favorite case so far has to be Tooth and Claw. it seems like the most developed. I don’t know about the least favorite… if you want to know which is the most disappointing I’d say either the gremlin one, or the protest clearing one. The protest looks like a chance to finally get an idea of what the MRA is all about, but you only really get one option if you choose to talk to them. The gremlin one has all this buildup with talking to all these different people, then you get on the plane, and do some seemingly pointless stuff before falling asleep. Then the mission is basically over. Seems like the only choice that matters in it is which partner you pick.

@Shoelip

I’ll work on adding more to the protest one. With the Gremlin case it can go one of two ways depending on how you deal with the protest one.

@stsword

Cloak actually gets the chance to be useful over form during the fight with Ren when you want to master Shade.

I cannot kill the Golem, help anyone?

@trollhunterthethird

What are your stats?

Trollhunter, use powers, if anyone has managed to kill it without powers I haven’t heard of it.

So have a decent form score, and slice dice and julianne, or become an azure and slice dice and julianne.

Sure, NS, cloak is useful when fighting Ren.

How about when fighting the vampire, the gargoyles, the animator’s bodyguards? There is absolutely no need to kill the animator’s bodyguards when you can just cloak and sucker punch them. Invisibility means you can win a fight before the other person knows there’s a fight in the first place.

How about when finding the Doctor, the werewolves in the park, the vampire in the mansion, and the gremlins on the plane? The MC can see through darkness and shadows right? Unless someone is lit up like a billboard the MC can find them, yes?

How about using cloak to sneak past the security guard in England, or disappearing if the Elder's creep the MC out?

The MC should be using it all the freaking time.

@stsword

I’m sure there was an option to use cloak during the encounter with the security guard in the cemetery.

Quite a few of my planned options are cut due to time constraints, but I’ve got plans to go back and add the choices I’ve cut out (i.e. non power way of beating gargoyle, trying to arrest the bodyguards and animator etc)

@Nocturnal_Stillness

Are you supposed to do the Trick or Treat mission more than once? Because I was able to choose it again on one playthrough.

@RagEgnite that is a glitch that should have been fixed yesterday.

@Nocturnal_Stillness

Well I didn’t see you respond to my other post about it so I didn’t know if you had overlooked it. Anyways I’m on that part right now so let’s see… (Yep it’s fixed, though I noticed I suddenly forgot everything I know about Gargoyles. :open_mouth: )

Not that I’ve ever seen, NS, it just gives me three options: stay and wait, sneak past him, or jump him.

Unless the MC uses cloak in one of those options?

Oh, NS, could there be an option to talk to your uncle and aunt about mommy dearest being an Azure if you didn't take Kota on the werewolf mission, or didn't call them up first?

Maybe the MC could get that letter hand delivered.

@RagEgnite

Sorry I forgot to tag you in an earlier post where i mentioned fixing errors.

@stsword

Just checked the code those options don’t mention cloak but to succeed you need either stealth or cloak > 20 so I’ll revise it.
