Well it would make sense that zombies could be healed by their animator, since the zombie doc was healing himself in front of the MC’s eyes.
the generation of zombies now a days just eat all the junk food and leave the brains the only healthy part, ungratful zombie teens these days

@stsword The doctor was not a zombie read that part carefully he had some traits of a zombie but was still alive. You were right that he was taught how to be an animator.
they didn’t go brains brains in my day until return of the living dead.
Basically everything possesses an aura of energy that flows around/through them. Unnaturals have much greater auras than normal folk. An animator can convert the aura of the victim at the point of death to revive someone by using it to kickstart their own.
however, the foreign energy doesn’t mesh well with the zombie so the animator uses their own energy to trap it inside the host. this is why if a zombie moves to far the animator is no longer able to contain the energy and it disperses and the zombie is back to being dead.
I should say that even sentient zombies are controlled by the animators commands they just have more leeway in how to execute that command.
my first zombies were voodoo ones. Then Night of the living dead series (although ever actually referred to as zombies) which gave birth to the concept of Romero zombies.

I hate to be ‘that guy’ but some of you seemed awfully young to be playing this type of game. Of course, it is the ‘internet age’ or something, where mature contents are easily available to minors but…
Oh well, at the very least don’t announce your age in the thread for a game that has a rating of 17+
if we are on here we are proven that we are more mature than our age suggests
