UnNatural - A supernatural horror game - editing complete, beta testing over

@Fujin

Yeah currently the scene is for male characters but I will add the option for female pcs too.

Edit: I’ve made changes using drop box on my mobile. Hopefully both male and female pcs should now be able to get to that scene.

@Nocturnal_Stillness

I just continued the game with a password from the start of chapter 3. And my female PC actually got the scene where she’s told Denise would like to see her. The game crashes there, though, giving me this error message:

“line 522: increasing indent not allowed, expected 2 was 4”

@100_1

Thought it might have I’ll sort it out later.

@100_1

Try it again. Hopefully its now fixed.

@Nocturnal_Stillness

The error message is gone, the scene seems to be working now. Thanks for fixing it so quickly.

I figured out what was causing the error I used my mobile and my text program used word wrap which messed with the formatting.

You’re welcome.

Slight revision to the denise scene (a few additional choices).

Haven’t done any more will try again tomorrow.

that scene wasn’t that bad man you guys made it sound like it was way worse : P

i apologize, sounded worse to me the first time i read it than it actually was

do you always get caught when you read the email?

Weird i used cloak on gargoyle and it sent me back a chapter

i have never been caught reading the email, if i had to guess i would assume it has an awarness skill check to see if you get caught or not, my awarness is always at 2 what was yours at

@Nocturnal_Stillness hey I’m back from a small break from the site and I’ve got a few questions…like who is this denise person? And i haven’t had the option to double cross the fae…or is that later to come?

I noticed a few issues on my recent playthroughs of beta path. First, when you have the vampire on the loose there are three options of what to do, go back to the lab, find craig, or “Search for” Not sure what the last one is. I haven’t chosen it was yet since I figured it was bugged and would lead nowhere, guess I ought to try it though.

A second thing. After you meet with Denise there’s a scene where you choose either see what Lakota wants, or go talk to the director but the second option says something like “Denise doesn’t deserve to be treated better.”

Finally I was on the SOS mission with Lakota and had him watch the soldier while I watched the noble. The vampire came to life (I assume it was the one Lakota was watching as he was attacked first, but survived.) only it was apparently the soldier, but was constantly referred to as female.

BTW, does zombie lore do anything for you yet? I did the mission with the zombies with 3 zombie lore but it was exactly the same as with only one. I just killed them all. :frowning:

Oh yeah, one quick typo I noticed in alpha path after you get shot. Ashley says this when you ask about Victoria

“We didn’t know, everyone was too busy dealing with the vampire. She is probablymiles away now.”

Just a missing space there is all. Well actually the first comma could be a period since the words on either side are both complete sentences.

I think I found a mistake in the gargoyle. I’m not sure but it seems like the first two victims’ descriptions were both for the second victim.

It also seems a bit funny that Ashley knows so much about Gargoyles. :stuck_out_tongue:

You know, I was thinking, Form is the only way to defeat anything non-lethally…

Actually there are other ways sometimes you can shoot to injure and on the gargoyle case your partner can either tranq them or knock them out except victor of course

Hm, I forgot about the tranq dart. Still I can’t think of anyone you can shoot to injure besides Jack, and he’s not even wolfed out.

You can shoot to injure the gargoyle too.

@Nocturnal_Stillness
Will capturing, instead of killing, unnaturals, at least whenever possible, have some influence on the story, or how people react to the PC?
