Was you able to get that scene then. Yeah Denise isn’t treated very well at all. Not happy with the scene at all though seeing that scene will let you improve her conditions adding a stat later to get a choice to help her get treated better.
I selected anthony to Promotion and i got Diane and him in case selection
@Nocturnal_Stillness I can still use craig as my partner even though I did not reccomend him for the promotion and zack too, did you intend this? either way thanks for letting me choose him if it was a mistake or not
It seems I can’t get the new Denise scene to work for me, either.
Also, when dealing with the zombie outbreak, one line says:
““They are zombies they need to be put down.” [To be done]”
although you can choose the option and get a proper reply. I guess the TBD can be removed.
will breaking max’s arm decrease humanity
@Nocturnal_Stillness Yes, I got the scene. It ended quite abruptly… And it kind of felt odd that there were no choices besides deciding whether to go on not. Also, it’s a bit weird that you don’t get to bring up the fact that someone wrote a note telling you to go to visit her when it couldn’t possibly have been her… and you clearly weren’t supposed to be visiting her. And yeah, it is pretty disturbing how poorly they treat Denise, the more you get to know her, the more it becomes clear that she’s a human woman (a rather pleasant one too) with a disease, that has had all her rights revoked because of it. It probably wasn’t intended like this in any way but it could easily be misinterpreted as a commentary on certain current trends in US domestic policy.
The partner select seems to be messed up so I’ll look into it later.
I was hoping that the scene would make you feel sorry for her. At least that bit was conveyed, I’m not happy with the overall scene. I’ll make sure you can mention that.
And as I’m English that was unintentional and I’m quite horrified that something similar could happen in the US.
@Nocturnal_Stillness Well I don’t know of any specific instances where it has happened, but technically with a 2012 National Defense Authorization Act they shoehorned in some legislation that apparently allows the government to legally imprison any US citizen (And requires it for non-citizens) indefinitely in military custody without a trial if they call them a terrorist. I wouldn’t change that part of the story just to keep from having people think you’re referencing that though.
Please tell me how to get denise scene
My earlier walk-through should help you now if not I’ll pm you a step by step guide tonight
Here is a walk-through again…
Make sure you read at least one book on werewolves in college.
Join Unit Beta.
When you find her chained up choose the is she a werewolf or lycanthrope which will save her life.
Do the “By Tooth and Claw” mission and talk to her at the camp and when you get the choice “I’m glad they didn’t hurt you” pick that.
In episode 3 after your meeting you should get a visit off a woman you don’t know who will start the Denise scene shortly after.
It says Emanciated.
It needs to be Emaciated.
Strange I changed that once looks like it didn’t save. Thanks
I followed your walkthrough and still can’t get the Denise scene. I tried continuing from episode 3 with a password, and when that didn’t work I started a new game. Just in case the password was missing some variable. Still, no luck getting the scene.
Episode 3 is like this for me:
Dream -> Meeting -> Practice/etc. choice -> Lakota -> Zombie case -> Ritual -> Episode 4
Hmm strange I’ll do another playthrough and post my every choice to get it.
I just played the game again, this time with a male protagonist, and managed to get the Denise scene. I selected the same choices as I did in the playthrough before this one, so if her scene is only supposed to be available to male PCs, I must have missed that. My apologies, if that’s the case.
…Denise scene was disappointing. I expected when the people came in she would like attack them. I think their should be more special denise scenes.
