Hi! I just started working on a new project called “Unidad 842” a sci-fi military and political game set 4.000 years into the future. In this game you play as a soldier of the Third Empire. You start as a nobody but you’ll have plenty of chances to rise through the ranks.
This is my first time working with choicescript, but it’s not the first time I write interactive fiction, so I hope you find it enjoyable. Will be updating once a week so stay tuned!
I started the project recently, so right now you’ll only see the introduction. Feel free to write as much feedback as you want.
Summary:
The Third Empire has been in decline for centuries. Its vast administrative network has become a drag. Nepotism and complacency have become a virus that has infected to the deepest roots what was once the greatest nation in the galaxy. In recent decades, rebellions have occurred in the outer worlds and discomfort is growing among the oligarchs of the inner sectors. Nowadays there are voices that speak of a possible coup, of a civil war that can precipitate and plunge the Empire into the deepest darkness. What will you do? Will you fight to preserve and raise an old glory or create something new from its ashes?

El Tercer Imperio lleva siglos en declive. Su vasto entramado administrativo se ha convertido en un lastre. El nepotismo y la complacencia se han convertido en un virus que ha infectado hasta las más profundas raíces lo que un día fue la nación más grande de la galaxia. En las últimas décadas las rebeliones se han sucedido en los mundos exteriores y empieza a despertar un malestar cada vez mayor entre los oligarcas de los sectores interiores. Hoy en día hay voces que hablan de un posible golpe de estado, de una guerra civil que puede precipitarse y hundir al Imperio en la más profunda oscuridad. ¿Qué harás tú? ¿Luchar por preservar y levantar una vieja gloria o crear algo nuevo de entre las cenizas?

Oh, they are just the default stats that come with choicescript. Once I start writing choices that affect the stats I will be adding them to the game. Probably in the next couple of updates. ¡Gracias por comentar!
La premisa del juego está bastante interesante, y me gustó mucho la intro.
Lo que sí es que encontré un poco brusca la manera en que se pasa de diálogo a acción (esto puede ser porque ya estoy más acostumbrado a las conversaciones que empiezan y terminan con “” y no con el guión), y me hubiera gustado que el texto tuviera más espacios entre ellos, pero en general creo que todo está bien, tal vez para alguien que no es muy bueno en el español algunas palabras les sean difíciles pero nada que el contexto no ayude a descifrar.
Lo mismo digo; Seria mas facil tanto para ellos como para nosotros (que estamos acostumbrados) a realizar las " " para el dialogo. Despues no encontre otro problema la verdad; Lo que si queria decirte, es que creo que sos alto pionero, porque creo que nadie antes habia escrito unicamente en español.
The easiest way to translate it, without spending a dime; would be to use Spanishdict, I have a strong grasp of both languages and I can pretty much assure its effectiveness (way better than google’s), then of course you’d have to also understand some English to correct the translations since it’s not flawless.
After carefully consideration. I’ve decided that the game won’t have any sort of romance. It just doesn’t feel right to add a rather lacking romance for the sake of having it into the game. In the next updates I’ll touch this matter in depth.
