Ultimata (Fantasy WIP)

Wait does that mean each race will have a completely different story?

Partly, they have different ancestors and if I am right then PE will be a bit different, but all in one not that much

Mythology is seen as actual History within the Non-Human World, since almost all of these old sagas, stories, lores and myths, which are considered as nothing more than fiction by the humans, actually happened or rather actually exist.
In School Non-Humans learn everything about the various Mythologies (like the Norse Mythology, the Yokai Mythology or the Greek Mythology) and the countless events which are associated with these Mythologies. On top of that Non-Humans are also taught about the various Non-Humans which are considered as great historical figures, legendary heroes or persons of great renown like Arthur Pendragon, Alexander the Great, Charles the Great or Jeanne d’Arc. Of course there are also various Humans who managed to make a name for themself within the Non-Human world like Odysseus, Siegfried the Dragonslayer, Abraham van Helsing or Sherlock Holmes, whose stories and legends are also taught at Non-Human Schools.
All in all one can say, that Non-Human History is quite different from Human History.

@Noah was already quite right with his assumption. The teachers try to give all the different races disciplines and routines that match perfectly with their bodily conditions and characteristics, while also making sure to keep their various weaknesses in mind to make suitable precautions.

Do aliens exist in this world?

Depends on your definition, if you mean non humans then yes, from other planets I highly doubt it

I’m sorry, but no. There exist many unusual beings and creatures within the world of my game, but aliens or creatures from another planet aren’t one of them.

Dragons and Raijus and Wolves, oh my.

Will any famous non humans be featured in the story such as Dracula or any kind of Greek monsters ?

@BrachydiosX

Will Jack the Ripper be mentioned?

My story will feature several famous Non-Humans and legendary creatures from various Mythologies like Fenrir, Medusa or Yamata no Orochi with which you might be able to interact with. There will be also several Gods featured within my story such as Zeus, Athena, Odin, Loki, Thor, Amaterasu or Raijin. However certain Non-Humans will only be mentioned by name, since they are either already dead or because they have decided to withdraw from public. A good example for this would be Dracula, who was killed by Abraham van Hellsing more than a century ago.
Regarding this matter there is one more thing that I have to say. The individual Story of each of the six playable races will also feature certain characters who are either famous or infamous Non-Humans themself or who are connected to a famous Non-Human in a certain way. For example, the Duelist MC will meet the great-granddaughter of Arthur Pendragon, while the Kitsune MC will be able to interact with one Inari Okamis Messengers.

Yes, Jack the Ripper will be mentioned within a certain part of the story. To be more precisely within the individual story of the Gunslinger MC, where the infamous Killer will play a quite central role (well at least whats left of them).

Wow! Looking forward to seeing that. Definitely looking forward to meeting a certain deity in the game!

Let me take a guess. Are you by any chance talking about a certain Trickster God?

Been interested in Norse mythology ever since my dad told me the stories. My very first story (which I will never share, written in 2005) involved a certain trickster god.

So while I still work on the changes of my Concept, I thought I could at least give you the schedule for the classes within the Prolog so that you might get a little foretaste for what will await you. Your class shedule will be as follows:

1st Class: Mythology (Topic: The first Dragon’s)
2nd Class: Math (Topic: Algebra)
3rd Class: PE (Excersise: Swimming)
Lunch Break
4th Class: Home Economics (Topic: Baking)
5th Class: Biology (Topic: Diversity of the
Non-Human Races)

Side Note: All of these classes will help you to define your character and to determine their personality. Also it is important to note, that certain classes will also have another special purpose within the Prolog. For example, Mythology and Biology will serve as an introduction to the world my game takes place in, while PE and Home Economics will give you the chance to interact with the first few members of the main cast. Math won’t have any further purpose besides just being Math, so there isn’t much to say about this matter.

So, that would be all for now. What to you das about this class schedule? Does it sound good?

Hmmmm, I think maybe instead of mythology, calling it “Social Studies” or “World History” would be more fitting. I’ve never seen Mythology be its own course before, usually it’s just added to a larger course. That’s mostly just a nitpick though, the rest looks good
Edit: Oh, also, you could use math class just for some player interaction like whether they stay focused or fall asleep and then have the player’s thoughts wander to some topics that you can take their opinion on. The more personalized it feels, usually the better in terms of player response.
