Before I answer any further questions about the Half Dragon I have to tell you, that I made some servere changes regarding this race.
You will no longer be able to choose the Half Dragon as your race. Instead, you can now choose to become an actual Dragon, a full fledged member of the proud and ancient Dragonrace. Of course you will still keep the same abilities, attributes and distinguish features as the Half Dragon, but you will also gain some extremly unqiue abilites in the future.

Wouldnât a full dragon be a bit overpowered compared to the other races?
Also I assume you will no longer get just some claws and wings but an actual dragon form?

What about small crimes?
E.g shop lifting without injuries
Will they receive a severe panishment than humans?

No. You see, while Dragonâs are still extremly powerful and highly respected by most other races, it is important to note they have lost some of their unique abilities during the past centuries. This also affected their appearances. You see, the ancient Dragonâs were exactly like you imagine a actual Dragon. Giant winged creatures that could bring chaos and destruction to the world if they wanted to. However, to be able to interact with other beings they learned how to change from their Dragonform into a more humanoid-looking form. Through this the Dragonâs realized that other beings are more comfortable with seeing their humanoid forms rather than their real forms, which resulted in them usually staying in their humanoid forms for longer periods. This ultimately led to the present appearance of the Dragonrace. During the centuries they found the perfect balance between their real form and their humanoid form. However, this new form came at a cost. During the past centuries most Dragonâs lost their abilities to turn back to their Dragonform, due to the long periods they spend in their new forms. Because of this, this middleform (that was only supposed to be a easement for their relations to other races) became the normal form and appearance of the Dragonrace. Thats the reason why most modern Dragonâs have a human-like appearance, while they still kept most of their old distinguish features like their scales, wings, claws, horns and tail.

i just read the first dragon lore very interesting. well ill shoot a question about magic or rather abyss magic cuz it sounds well op now i dont really know how magic gonna work in this game from what i understood its spells rather than people just controlling the element but reality manipulation on a big scale sounds like it could literally just erase someoneâs existence from the world kinda like he/she never existed in the first place or change the laws of physics entirely now i expect that if this was the case only Mana, Queen of the Abyss would be able to do this but would this not kinda nullify all other magic cuz magic is in a way reality manipulation making fire from air because you will it to be there (just taking that from how magic usally work). @BrachydiosX

As you already said, Magic in General is just spells that allow someone to manipulate a certain Element to some extent. However, it is important to note that all these spells have limits. They are basically just extremly weakened versions of the elemental abilities of the First Dragonâs and now matter how long someone studies or practices Magic they would never reach the same power level as the First Dragonâs. For example, Abyss Magic would only let you alter reality to some really small extent. You might be able to manipulate objects or your surroundings, but thatâs it. You canât erase someones existence or nullify other peoples magic. Such results would only be possible through large scaled reality manipulation and there exist only three beings in the world of my story who posses the needed powers to use such large scaled reality manipulation. One of these beings would be Mana, the Queen of the Abyss. She would also be the most powerful one from these three beings. You see, like all her siblings Mana posseses natural elemental powers, that allow her to manipulate her respective element completely freely without any kind of restriction.

No one really knows that for sure. They simply appeared one day and stayed in our world since then. The origin of the First Dragonâs is probably one of the greatest mysteries in the world of my story and the only beings who could give you an answer on this mysterie are the First Dragonâs themself.

Are dragon MCs cold blooded? Like if we mistake a cold pool for a heated pool, and jump in would we freeze up and need to be rescued? Also are dragons hatched from eggs?

Yes, Dragonâs are cold blooded (like all reptilian races), which basically means that if their environment isnât warm enough their bodily functions will slow down, to the point where they will feel the need to hibernate.
Cold water would also have such an effect. If you would jump into a pool filled with cold water the water would slow down your bodily functions and would leave you in a lightly weakened state. However, you can still move your body despite your slowed down functions. It would only be problematic for you if you spent too much time in the cold water. This could actually end in a scenario where might need the help of your friends.
Yes, the offspring of the Dragonrace still hatches from eggs (an ordeal that isnât all too pleasend for female Dragons), even despite the fact that they are now more humanoid in terms of appearance and anatomy. Also, Dragonâs arenât the only race whose offspring hatched from eggs. Other reptilian races (like Lamias, Lizardmen and Wyverns) and bird-like races (like Harpys and Phoenixes) hatch as well from eggs.

So basically no trip to the pool, or else it might be revealed that the dragon mc is a dragon, or can they keep the human shape even when weakened?
No, a trip to the pool would be still possible for you even if you are a Dragon. You just shouldnât spend several hours in the cold water.
Also, even if the Dragon MC would be in a weakened state they would still keep their human disguise. You see, the spell that allows most non-humans to take on the form of a ordinary human isnât affected by the constitution of its user. So even if a non-human is in a weakened state, loses their focus or falls unconcious the spell would still keep up their disguise.

Oh yes there are. Lyra created an suprising large array of convenient but also highly effective spells, that make the lifes of most non-humans much more easier and also help them to better blend in with the humans.
