Well, some of the romance options have certain preferences. They might be especially attracted towards a certain gender or race. However, those attractions won’t limit their romances. You can still romance all of the characters regardless your gender or race. However, if your character matches with the preferences of one of these characters you might get unique scenes and interactions during their romance paths.
The preferences for the romance options are:
Chris, Mia, Lena, Laurence, Jayce: No preferences
Tara: Especially attracted towards the beast-like races (Kitsune, Grey Wolf, Raiju)
Nick: Especially attracted towards a male MC
Maria: Especially attracted towards the Yokai races, notably towards a Cat Raiju
Felicia: Especially attracted towards a female MC
Robert: Especially attracted towards the Kitsune MC
Sophia: Especially attracted towards the Soulmancer MC

Actually, this was the first time that I mentioned her. You see, Lena is a new character which I included with my new concept of the Prolog. She will also be available as a additional romance options for the MC. To be honest, she is a character that was in my mind for quite some time now, but I couldn’t find the right chance to introduce. Now with my new concept I finally found a chance to introduce her.

I wanted to go for that combination anyway 
And I like, that the romances progress on a different pace. It makes sense, that getting close to someone you just met takes longer^^ It will feel more natural that way I think.
Don’t be sorry. You put hard work in your game and I (we) appreciate that. If there is a scene that is bugging you it’s only logical to overthink it, even if it takes longer. 
EDIT: It just occured to me that “overthink” is actually negativly connotated, just translated it one to one from my native language

I’m glad you like it. To be honest, I don’t really like the concept of romancing someone you just met and without knowing much about them. That’s why I decided to dissable the romance paths for characters like Sophia or Laurence in the first book. I simply want you to spend some time in their company, to get to know them better and to strengthen your relationship with them before you can start a romance with them.

Selena Tadros
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Species: Lamia
Affiliation: D.S.R.
Occupation: Expert for Infiltration
Height: 173cm (height can vary depending on how high she stands on her tail)
Appearance: In her “human-form”, Lena has a curvy figure with fair skin, long bright red hair and amber eyes with slitted snake pupils. She also wears yellow ‘D’ hairclips on each side of her head. However, her appearance changes quite exentsive with her “real-form”. In her “real-form”, her ears are large, pointy and red, and she has fangs as well as a long tongue. She also has small red scales on her cheeks. Though, her most noticeable physical trait in her “real-form” is her long, red snake tail. Her full length is said to be 8 meters, suggesting that her tail is approximately 7 meters long.
Personality: Lena is a cheerful yet ditsy young woman, who sometimes even displays a certain naivety. She also has a quite optimistic nature and usually tries to see the positive things in even the most dire situations. However, as a member of a race most distinguished by its seductiveness and high sex drive, Lena possesses a very lascivious personality, which she displays on several occasions (mainly while being in the company of the MC). Lena can also be quite domineering and hot-tempered. Whenever she feels that her claim on the MC is threatened, she is quick to lash out at the person in question (sometimes even physically). However, even despite her sometimes arrogant and abrasive demeanor, Lena does have a softer side. It is save to say, that her feelings towards the MC are sincere and not the mere product of self-centered lust (as it is often the case by her kind). She is also very protective of them and would even put herself in harm’s way when she fears that their life is at risk. Also, despite viewing them as possible rivals for the MC’s affections, it is known that she cares deeply for her friends and fellow Agents.
Abilities: As a Lamia, Lena possesses elevated speed and agility as well as superhuman durability. She is also incredibly stealthy. This, combined with her great speed, allows her to move around incredibly fast and completely soundless. However, her most unique trait is her tail, which is a very strong and dexterous part of her body. It is strong enough to crush metal pipes, to lift up heavy objects or to completely immobilize enemies. She can also coil up her tail and use it as a spring to launch herself great distances. Also, thanks to her strong tail and the special scales on its lower side, Lena is able to easily climb up trees or to scale up entire buildings.
Again it is important to note, that I didn’t came up with Selena’s character solely by myself. Similar to Chris and Felicia who are both inspired by characters from the Anime “Monster Musume”, Selena is also inspired by an character from this anime. In this case, that would be the character Miia.
(Note: Lena’s appearance would more or less correspond with the shown pictures)

Now that I posted the informations about Lena, I believe I should probably explain a few things. Especially in terms of “unique” character traits.
You see, Lena is one of three characters whose romance paths will run a little bit different. Normally you have to win over the heart of one of the characters to be able to start a romance with them. You have to spent time with them, get to know them better and increase your affection with them.
However, this concept doesn’t apply on three certain characters. These three characters are Chris, Mia and Lena. You don’t have to win over their hearts, because they already care deeply for you or even love you. You could theoretically start a romance with them right on from the beginning of the story. However, even though they might have feelings for you they won’t openly show it, especially Mia.
But, as it is with many things there is one exception. Lena. As I said in her character description, Lena doesn’t hide the fact that she has romantic feelings for the MC and that she could get quite abrasive if she think that someone could “steal” them away from her. However, it is important to note, that she doesn’t mean any harm with her actions. Such demeanor is just typical for her kind.
You see, as due to being a female-only race Lamias normally have to look for a potential partner and mate outside of their communities. Once they found someone who piqued their interest, they usually won’t rest until they managed to win over their heart and to claim them for themself. Lena sees in the MC the perfect partner, which is the main reason for her unique demeanor and behaviour. It is also important to note, that Lena’s feelings for the MC are sincere and not just the mere product of self-centered lust (as it is often the case by her kind). She sincerely loves them and doesn’t just see them as a way to follow the traditions of her kind.

Can we tell the characters to stp the avances? My MC will not be interested in women, so it would be quite annoyng having girls fawing over her.

Hmm, I like possessive characters, although her cheerful and positive demeanor might deter me(I usually don’t like the “overly happy” type of characters) I’ll have to see, she still seems likeable, though^^…Therefore, its probably going to be tough rejecting Selenas advances in favor of Sophia.

Yes, you can tell other characters that you aren’t interested in them in the romantic way or that you only like them as friends, which would basically stop (most of) their advances towards you.

Im glad to hear that you like her. To be honest, I feared that her rather “special” behaviour might have been a little bit repellent. So, knowing that you like her despite or because of her unique character traits is quite relieving.

Sorry if this was said earlier, but I didn’t see it: Why does Lena like MC so much?
That is a rather long Story, which will be explained in detail during the course of the Story. However, I can try to sum it up a little.
Lena and the MC know each other for quite some time. Lena met them when they were both about ten years old, during a time that wasn’t that easy for Lena. You see, Lamias don’t have the best reputation within the world of my game. Most non-humans see them as nothing more than lascivious and evil creatures, who would lure men back to their lairs and kill them after they’ve had their way with them. Of course this is only partially true, but some prejudices run deep and there are countless beings who believe in such false accusations rather than the actual truth. This led to a lot of discrimation towards Lamia’s, something that (sadly) even Lena experienced. Most other kids her age kept their distance from her or completely ignored her. It went even so far that she was bullied by some of her classmates. All these things left it’s marks on her and with the passing time even someone as optimistic as her lost the hope of finding real friends. At least until she met the MC.
When she met them for the first time she just thought about them as another person who would ignore or insult her. However, to her suprise the MC treated her with kindness and compassion, something that she previously only had experienced through her mother and other members of her kind. Though, it didn’t just stopped at that. The MC even stood up to those kids who bullied Lena and told them to back off. Suprisingly, they actually listened to them and left Lena alone.
This act of compassion create the foundation for a great friendship between Lena and the MC, which only grew with the passing time. Also, with the passing time Lena developed more and more romantical feelings for the MC and ultimately fell completely in love with them, to the point where she decided to win over their heart and to make them to her future partner and mate.

Summary
My MC
After walking for sometime time, he stops when he reachs his favorite spot, the only place where he could be alone for a moment. Sitting down and leaning back he closes his eyes, exhales and relaxes.
Then he realizes something, he is not alone.
Opening his eyes and glancing around, he notices a girl staring at him. He did not sense before, but there she is staring at him with an expression he cant quite undestand. Afraid? Annoyed? Anxious? All of them?
he jsut stares back until she looks away, than he opens abag of chips and closes his eyes again, relaxing abit before eating his snack.
Almost immediately after first bite he feels it once more, opening his eyes for the second time he glances at the girl at the same time she turns to pretend she wasnt staring again.
Sighing he stated calmily " i really dont like people staring at me"
She was about to reply when a guy shouted from behind you " There you are snake"
Both you and the girl turned to face the guy. He was kinda tall, not that much taller than mc, but still…
“Oh youre not alone? Who is that ? Your boyfriend?”
She try to reply but he cuts her off
“Of course not, right? Who would date you?” He laughs at his own joke, the boy just stares. Then looking at mc he adds " i know who you are. You’re that boy who like being alone right? Why you with her? You Friends?" he laughs agains. " Look i have some… issues i’d like to talk about with snaky here. So can you just, you know, fuck off?" he smiles at you threateningly.
“No, dont want to.” Both guy and girl look at you wide eyed, than his narrows as he asks
“what did you-”
“You heard”
Yanking mc off the ground he shouts at his face some spit flies as he does.
“You little piece of shit who the fuck do you think youare-”
“cant you stop spitting ? its gross.”
“what?” he shrieks. " Ill beat to pulp you little fuck"
“Do it then” mc said slowly and daring, staring at the guys eyes.
After what seemed like a lot of time he lets of mc and storms off, for now. You now that tomorrow, maybe later today, he will be back, with his friends.
" are you crazy ?" ah yeah the girl is still over there.
“hum?”
“he could have knocked you out!”
“So?” mc says phlegmatically, unbelieving"I’m surprised he didnt." the girl stares at him.
He sits down again, picking another bag of chips he stares at it for a moment, realizing he is not hungry anymore nor is he going to be able to relax with al the adrenalin thats now coursing through his veins, he tosses the bag to the girl
“oy” and before she can say anything." so who was that guy?" he asks leaning back where he was.
and then when i realize im writing a fanfic when i should be trying to get past chap1.
Somelike this? I wrote this based on my ideal mc personality sooo maybe almost certainly not ?

Wow. That was pretty good and i really have to thank you for writing and sharing this.
Nah, that was already pretty close to what actually happened. Later in the game I will probably include a Flashback where you will go back to exact point where you met Lena for the first time. In this Flashback I will probably give you several option for how you want to interact with Lena and the kids that bullied her, so you could still get outcome you described in your short fanfic.
She usually is disguised in public, like most demihuman races. However, there are also certain places where she had no need to hide her inhuman features, like at the school for example. You see, in the world of my game exist something that is called Safe Zones. These Safe zones are Special areas, which can only be entered by non-humans, like Shops, Hospitals or Schools and you can find them almost everywhere in every city.
Non-human parents usually prefer to send their children to such schools (for various reasons) and since humans can’t enter these areas, their children are able to stay in their true forms while staying on the school grounds.
