Yeah but if there are a billion supernatural people in the world the chance everyone won’t show themselves is pretty much zero. Even if there were only a million of them the chance would be zero. You only need one kid who got mad at humans to go all out and kill them (like what you do in the prologue) to reveal the supernatural people, and there are probably millions of kids like that…
then there is the selective thinking that men are capable of, in other words supernatural is absurd, so we have genocider

That would actually be harder than you think. Non-humans might have unnatural powers, but that doesn’t make them invincible. The humans found countless ways to stand their ground against non-humans during the past centuries. If there would be a war between humans and non-humans, it would probably end with millions of losses on both sides. It’s obvious that both sides try to avoid a Scenario like that.
That is something that could actually happen. However there are special governmental facilities, like the D.S.R., who take care of situations like that. They would repair the caused damage and make sure, that the culprint won’t act like this ever again. When it comes to situations like this, they rely partly on extremly harsh methods.
Yes their animalistic ears are hidden in public, like the rest of their unusual features, at least for the eyes of the humans. Other non-humans or humans with supernatural abilities could still see some traces of your animalistic features.

I don’t think the DSR would exist in poor countries like in Africa though, there are some countries full of anarchy with almost no government control.
Also you don’t even need an attack, kids can just use fire or something to show their powers to their friends.
There are countless of other institutions besides the D.S.R. who keep a watch on non-humans and their use of power. Even in the poorer countries.
However, there are also some extremly dangerous groups out there. One of those Groups are the “Guardians of Humanity”, a group of human fundamentalists who hunt down supernatural beings and non-humans in the name of Humanity. They are one of the greatest dangers in the world of my book and feared by countless non-humans.
Believe me, the D.S.R. has enough ways to monitor the usage of power of the various non-humans. High Tier spells, advanced Technology and several other methods. If you would use your powers in the presence of humans or anyone who isn’t Aware of the existence of supernatural beings they will know it.
It depends on the caused damage. This might sound harsh but, if a young non-human is unable to control their powers, the D.S.R. would take them away from their families and send them to special institutions were they would learn to control their powers. This however is still the best Scenario. If you would kill someone in a fit of rage or by mistake, the punishment would be much more harsh. First they would try to seal away your powers. If that doesn’t work they would lock you away either for the rest of your life or until they managed to fully seal your powers away. If none of those former solutions would work, they would rely on the only available option and sentence you to death.

I don’t think little kids will care if they know it, kids who are like 6 years old may not even have control over their powers. Also if there are human extremest groups who hunt them it would encourage the non-humans to form an army of some sort to take down these groups. The DSR members themselves would rebel against the government and hunt the Guardians

You do know, that the ones who are able to order those sentences aren’t just ordinary non-humans. Also they would take measurments beforehand, to make sure that you won’t be able to use your powers against them.

As I explained before, those who can’t control or abuse their powers, will met serious punishments. Even children. Most parents teach their children at a very young age, that they have to hide their powers from others.
That’s what the “Hunters” are there for. The “Hunters” are a elite force, with members from around the globe. They hunt down groups like the Guardians and make sure to keep up the peace between humans and non-humans.

Umm, you might be strong, but not strong enough to fight against the D.S.R. all by yourself.
Can you join the hunters? And wouldn’t it be better if the powers are revealed, giving freedom to everyone to use their powers whenever they want? There should be a plot where you raise in the DSR and gain influence to later announce the supernatural powers to the world and keep the peace. I don’t think this secrecy is really healthy. If you compare it to our world it’s like saying gay people should all stay in the closet and not show affection in public or something , it’s just plain wrong.

well, humanaty tends to be less tolorant for thse matters than you give them credit for, let’s face it they will probably discriminate the non-humans or they will be afraid and demanding drastical means
Yes, this is one of the main reasons why the governments do their best to keep the existence of non-humans a secret. With their existence hidden, non-humans can live a normal life, whitout any kind discrimination.
Also, the past has shown more than once, that humans tend to fear and hate what they don’t know.

It’s their own problem, everyone should have freedom to do what they want. You don’t have to be scared and stay hidden cause others want to prosecute them. It’s the same thing as the gay people actually, they were afraid to show themselves due to prosecution but some countries are more free now and people can be openly gay. The humans should eventually deal with it and accept non-humans (especially when there are so many)

Once the Africans have been accepted as equals, those prefer the own gender were discriminated, but who is next, history has shown that humanity allways needed to discriminate somone and that will probably never change
