Na, sounds like it has five of them.

I dont hear this one talked about much, but it’s amazing. I especially love that you can choose what your demonic form looks like.

Unfortunately, I think it is.

The Northern Passage has released its first re-written chapter.

Thats sad. But maybe someone here can contact the author and continue it? Cause its like too good to just be abandoned and we havent had any games here in that setting except maybe that part in Iron Heart where you can join Mongols.

I have to ask, what percentage of twine games even get a second update, let alone get finished?

From what I’ve seen on here and Tumblr, it’s hard to say but very little percentage even gets an second update or it’s never posted at all so all there is for a proof of concept is a Tumblr page dedicated to a WIP

It’s so annoying to see authors set up pages with detailed descriptions and also answer anon asks , while the actual demo is posted 2-3 years later. I just lose interest and forget about those in the meantime

That’s why I don’t bother following a page unless they have at least 3 chapters. Anything less than that is unreliable to me at the best as maybe 55% of the time, they only post for attention. And that’s me being nice as I possibly can

Just feel like they underestimate the effor that goes into writing an IF. Often times I see authors stuck in a loop, release a prologue or first look then abandon it to start work on their next wip, which honestly confuses me.

Anyone know whats happening with Lunaris games and Call Me Under? looks like they havent updated their patreon since February. They seemed to of stopped posting frequent updates since Errant Kingdom’s not so…er…smooth…release.

Someone could but the author would have to: a) respond and b) give permission like you said. That is not very likely and even if it did happen, it could potentially be a long process .I am sorry my friend, but I wouldn’t bet on that.

I do think they abandoned the game and their studio.

First Bite was good, and makes sense that it (most probably) came from them, felt very similar in style. Can also understand why they jumped ship after Errant Kingdom, I remember they had so many problems in development (mostly from them using a very unoptimal unity engine which they then scrapped for renpy again, which they should have used from the 1st place) a the whole back half of the game being rushed, and when it was released they shut down the comments page of all thier games. Sad, and kkinda scummy that they’ve just abandoned it all without saying anything.

Regarding the last bit on the Steam post, yes, they were talking about a vampire game, and since I don’t follow them on social media, it would either be on Steam or Itch at some stage. It may not be there now.
Can anyone confirm that they are an Australian company? I somehow got the impression that they were in Tasmania, but I’m not sure. One thing I do know is that if they are an Aussie company they should have a company registration and its possible to trace online to see if they are still in business or not. Its also possible to trace company directors, and secretaries, if anyone has lost any money.
