Yes I did buy and play the full game.
From my point of view
Plot:average,Too boring at some point but most of the part is interesting but it’s short
Stat:terrible, why would we want to developed a relation with someone without another person in balance, the captain and GPF Grace thing is ok but the other
Cash system:Terrible,The cash you recieve it’s seem unreasonable for me.
Freedom for player:I think this one is too strict,as the story end i feel like everything is fixed there’s nothing that i cannot guess what happen next in the story.
Gameplay:it’s okay but i have a feeling that you will release a bunch of extra content on this thing and it make we feel like we spent 2 dollar on one small book that the content is seen before but we forget
Final verdict:5 out of 10
I’m on the fence about buying it.
I want to enjoy it, but if the stats are all skewed and there are THIS many bugs in a Choice game, I want to hold off until it’s updated.
I like immersion.
@MrYoungzman the first patch is out (1.0.4). It should fix the typos and stat screen bugs.
The rewrite of the Nyarri is still pending.
@jasonstevanhill That should push me over the fence to buy it, but if the rewrite of the ‘Nyarri’ (which I have no clue about, btw.) I’d rather wait for it. Unless it’ll be a while.
Not sure when Adam will have time to do that. Could be a few weeks.
So, I bought Treasure Seekers. Overall, I enjoyed it.
However, a lot of choices left me peeved.
The most aggravating one has got to be the Kind/Harsh stats.
I disagreed with the game telling me that because I’m morally correct, my combat effectiveness decreases.
Shouldn’t you be able to keep the arc welder after the first mission…? No reason to throw away a perfectly usable weapon, unless there’s a better one.
I liked the characters. I disliked picking between crew members, especially if you’re playing this for the first time. I generally play characters on the nicer side, so they like to talk to everyone. Being told that I’d only get to pick 3/6(not counting Cap’n & Grace) would have been useful.
A lot of the choices forced me to choose my morals. Doing a harsh run, I thought that sticking with Thisi in the middle of a fight would have been more effective to my survival, but choosing so makes me a good guy.
I like the use of items, though I’d like for there to be more opportunities to gain money for a Kind run. I never felt as if I needed more, though.
Tl;dr - I *enjoyed* the story, at the least. It wasn’t a fleshed-out epic adventure, but it was nice to pick up and put down. Probably won’t play again, however.
Hi! I really need the code in the cave guys! please help
Never figured that out myself, although I never overly tried. Your best bet is to buy a lazer and blast your way through. Although if you choose tactical, there is a way to brake down the wall (although it really buggy and you only get one chance, unless they fixed that).
I believe there is also a stealth way but I don’t remember that.
I didn’t want to start over, but I guess I will have to. I am disappointed that the clues are not very good
It’s the stalactites/mites - am I the only one who found that obvious? ._.
What I found really strange about the game is how the genders of certain characters kept changing.
In one playthrough the captain would be a woman, and then randomly–without me making any changes to my character between the first playthrough and the next–she would be a man.
Then Garce would be a woman if I followed her, but a man if I rejected her harshly.
Then sometimes the captain’s lover would be a woman and sometimes a man, regardless of the gender of the captain.
It’s just so strange; it kind of gave me whiplash #-O
Was this on separate playthroughs? Because if you restart the game there is a chance they will change gender (not an error) but if they change gender mid game then that is an error.
Yes, it was on separate playthroughs. So it’s not an error or anything (except for the part where it says “a woman glances up from his desk”). It was just kind of unexpected
That sentence is an error yes, but gender switching on separate playthroughs is not
I think it’s just okay a 3/5 it has a good story but far to many errors and odd useless puzzles, many bugs and I would have liked a more romantic backstory. BTW does anyone know if it’s possible to mess up the first mission? The team always gets away with all or most the treasure / even after I get the alien bugs to help me.
Giving credit where it’s due, I adored the characters and the plot in this game so much that I almost bought it in spite of it being horribly broken. I look forward to it being patched so I can get it for my Kindle.
