Tin Star testing

After finishing chapter 7, it looks like the game ended… It didn’t, so I’d like you to remove the part until chapter 9… err, after ending 8,otherwise it’d be confusing for new players.

When seeing Julie while it’s winter and you wanna get cash, a choice says /Forget I mentioned ever mentioned it/

@AllenGies

Sending Yiska to check out the Waggons where the cannon is in.

/AT least you trust he does/

Again, AT.

@JackHerge uhm… you know some of your post could be edited to 1 big post right

JackHerge- That’s a lot of little things I need to fix and a few larger ones like Sam for example and then the refresh after you leave for Elko in Chapter 5. Those will take some work and I’m glad you pointed them out.

If you are worried about taking up posting space, feel free to send me mail via this site. Others have and it has always turned out well.

Oh, and chapter nine drops right now. It is near to the maximum allowed length, so I get the feeling that it will need extensive testing. Certainly it needs more than I can give it.

Wait, so Yiska wanted us to let the train go and kill innocent people. That doesn’t seem very . . . Yiska.

Yahoo! Chapter nine! I wont be sleeping tonight! :stuck_out_tongue:

@AllenGies
Just making sure chapter 9 ends when you deal with Regina/Reginald on the train?

So far love like always!

Small glitch I noticed (if it is one) is that I only have my Deputy with me, but I’m pretty sure I had Ben and Carrie with me too?

AngelOfTheBroken- One path ends when you deal with Regina/Reginald on the train. Did it seem short? Was there anything wrong about the terminus?

And your notation that Ben and Carrie weren’t with the MC was spot on. I’ve fixed the variable reset at the beginning to get around that. They should be along now.

trollhunterthethird- Yeah, Yiska is in a tight spot. If the train gets away, then innocent people might die. If the Railroad goes through, then his people will suffer for it. It is a no-win situation for him because while there are benefits to his walking in both worlds, he also has obligations in both.

Should I have him emote more in that section? Is there something more that you can see that would add to it?

Piggleywinks- Have fun but don’t draw your husband’s aggro on account of me. :slight_smile:

Oh wow seems like this project has come a long way in my absence, I just might have to play through this again when I have the time to see all the new things especially the new Yiska related content.

Okay weird glitchiness.

Chapter nine keeps repeating, and somehow it assumes I’m working with the Uptons, which I can assure you, my marshall at his most corrupt has never ever made a deal with the uptons.

@AllenGies
It did at first but I did a few more playthroughs and figured out I just chose the very direct options which made it seem shorter. I’ve tried both ways now and I got to say I like 'em both nice wrap up for either Reg.

By the way nice touch with the Lions! I was thinking. “Holy crap Dan is Psychic/ perfect foreshadowing tool!”

Spotted a couple of very minor errors in the old chapters, I’m afraid I was too busy just playing the new content to mind the details of spelling and gammar very much.

“But, the Indians summoned it with their great Bear-Dance, to take revenged on the White Man for taking their land” Should be revenge, I think

“Have you gotten in anythings special for rifles?” an errant “s”

Maria focuses on an elaborate defense of her King that you slowly picks apart. Again one “s” too many

Also there is a scene of gender confusion in the alley part if you’ve previously chosen to adopt the female cat (sleek gray pouncer), like I did then it will at that point make reference to “his fur”.

Other than those minor details it’s still excellent as always.
Poor yiska though, I get the feeling that no matter what I do Yiska and my character won’t get a happy ending together.

Wow, this game is among the least linear I’ve played here. I don’t think I’ve played something this intricate since CotV, or the still unpublished Vendetta. I doff my hat to you @AllenGies.

how about we have the option of stopping the train,and when we’ve got everyone off and Reginald arrested we can start it back up again to destroy! It would certainly bring happy sides to both.

@AllenGies

What about making a shortcut for these Testers here, so they can jump between chapters? Sounds atleast like an idea, doesn’t it?

Preston nods as you relate the bare bones of what happened out there as you lead your horse into town. That takes more than a little while, and at the end you are standing out in front of the Mother-lode saloon.

“So, the river came back to us because the Red Ribbon mining company lost its dam.” He gives a grin. “I’ll take that and like it.”

Somewhere inside the saloon, a guitar strums to life. A raucous chorus rises up, of men looking to wet their throats and others eager to take their gold. Dressed in his finery, Preston looks right at home.

/Just stare at the merry saloons."/

I’d not say that " is supposed to be there, is it?
