Tin Star testing

After turning the wagon off the road and returning whatever gold I could grab to Preston, Hartigan’s Indian BFF comes in and says “You have his ax when you wish to call upon it. (farewell thing). You have his ax when you wish to call upon it.”

Might not be the exact wording xd, just got past the page but iddn’t copy text and didn’t want to go through the whole game again, can look for it tomorrow morning if that’s easier :S

I found another bug. Whenever I choose to shoot Tumbleweed at the marshal’s office without talking to him you have the option to tell Preston you sent him off and can talk to Tumbleweed in the most recent chapter.

Talon5505-Do you feel the oratory at the Evening Star is too difficult? The sequence of evidence presentation can actually make a big difference.

cjparzival-Hmm. Ax to call upon? That should be enough for me to find it. Thank you.

Did the series of scenes make sense to you? From Hartigan’s point of view, you left him the wagon…

spyfox259-That does sound like a bug. Did you wound Tumbleweed and then kill him?

@AllenGles I personally feel that getting everyone to believe you’re the real marshal is too difficult… It never works for me!

Yeah that is why I kill everyone…

Works for me once and my first skill its persuasion! Its a nigmare to achive that even with all the info and probes

I just kill the brothers , then heal Steele because I’m a doctor with silver tongue

Guys, you should Romance with Caraway, she’s awesome! She spared me from her dad!
Also, why do you guys can’t be Marshals? I can be one easily in every Playthrough…

Yeah but I like guys so no thank you but she spares me from her dad since I am her new best friend on the law’s side

Law? :-? Well, I romanced with her… she’s amazing.

I have power and influence in the law system either befriend me, stay out of my way , or
RUN!

Wrong. I’m the most Powerful and most Influential person in California. Your just a Influential person in Preston Springs. So I command you to get away from my lawn, you murderer!

and while you 2 are talking i am already shooting

Ninja clone

VoodooDolly- Are you still available to help with Spanish phrases? I have come to a point where it is possible for Maria to be upset enough to revert to her native tongue.

Redgrave- Would you be willing to relate your difficulties in trying to convince everyone that you are the real Marshal? Which pieces of evidence did you have and in which order do you recall using them? If this portion is too difficult, now is the time to fix it.

I am glad people like Miss Caraway. Her (and others) willingness to intercede on your behalf with her Father surprised me when I wrote it. Of course, if you are not so chummy with her then Echo canyon ends up being a little different.

For the next update I may try to include an in-game save-point system so that players can replay the previous chapter or even jump back several chapters at a time. This will almost double the number of variables used, but that doesn’t seem likely to affect the program structurally.

My question is this, do I include the save option before or after the various interludes where you get to walk around town for a bit? I would think the save should come before the interlude, but I would like a second opinion or three. Other commentary is welcome as well.

Yeah the post-wagon scene did make sense

and for the save option, I would say before the interlude so that you can change how you spend your time ^^
