Um i can not tell if i lost the game or not.Right after you take steele into custody and you see maria out in the distance does it end there?

There is one quasi-save function possible. Kittymaverick pointed it out to me in the Apex Patrol folder. "If you want to play with the possibilities, “save” now by copy-pasting the game url, and opening them in new windows. " That way you could start Chapter 5 over and over again from the same spot.
Now, how to do an in game checkpoint save or the like… I can see several brute force options via saving to temporary stats and giving the player goto_scene options, but I am not certain of the code involved. Specifically, whether it is possible to tell the program *set temporary_wealth = wealth. Otherwise there will be a lot of sprawl with *if wealth =1 *set temporary_wealth 1, *if wealth =2 *set temporary_wealth 2 and so on.
The beginning has a slight bug in that you can now quite easily become a doctor lawyer, if you answer medicine on the Marshall’s first question and then select being a lawyer sometime during trait selections when he asks you what you’re good at. Will test more when I have the time .
@AllenGies I had an issue with the Red Ribbon Mine, I brought Carson along and took a rather violent route and used the option of, don’t reload use the prospectors guns. Then talk to Yiksa and Carson says the last prayer to the dead and leaves. A few pages later Carson shows up again calls me the devil that sent him to hell and leaves, again! I’m pretty sure it’s an error of some sort.
idonotlikeusernames- Good catch. I’d forgotten about that section when I had added the doctor part to the beginning.
However, do people still want to be Doctor-Lawyers or Lawyer-Doctors? I can now see a couple of hilarious scenes involving revealing that to people.

Which scene had more impact on you by the way? Carson saying prayers for the dead or him calling you the devil?
I do :3 I was a quiet religious lawyer doctor.

In my view probably him calling me a devil but in my character’s view it would more or likely be him saying the prayers to the dead.

Yeah, some pretty funny combinations can be had with lawyer doctors epsecially when combined with a Chinese player character (maybe this character should have the option to say my tiger of a mother instead of the generic friends or family options when asked what he leaves behind).
Never can get the bar peeps to believe me. I had a person to vogue for me, presidents letter, th guy that made us marshals letter, and th chat with tumbleweed… Wasn’t there on where you could talk to the real Steele?
