Have I really made romancing Yiska that difficult?
In other news; Maria now has an Uncle as her familial bodyguard. His name is, at present, Carlos Gustavo Toledo, Conde de Puebla, Carlos Sangre Halcon de Vera Cruz, Carlos de Toledo y Leon.
He is a veteran of both the war with America and the ongoing troubles with Emperor Maximilian. This duty has been forced upon him by his elder brother, Maria’s father, in order to keep him from making a bloody mess in the ongoing battles with the Liberals in Mexico. Best not to pick sides, especially when the outcome is uncertain at best and especially not when your brother is a hard-fighting commander who might get a lot of people killed on both sides.
Maria now hails originally from Puebla but is a Countessa de Jalisco. I had the option of making her Countessa de Tabasco, but that didn’t seem right.

Yes Allengies romancing Yiska is hard. I still çan’t figure out how to romance smidt even when I have a high relationship with him.
True a good bit of romance in this game, as it stands, involves a great deal of trial and error.
@AllenGies, is her brother cute, and if so, is there any chance to attempt to flirt with him (not asking for a real romance or anything here, just maybe a bit of playful innuendo).
Just a question… Is there a way to romance Carson?
And also I cant seem to romance Smidt either.
@Spidergirl, I believe Carson cannot be romanced at this time and a future romance with him does not seem to be in cards, since he seems at present to be a faithfully married Mormon, although that last bit does open up interesting possibilities, come to think of it.

Two things… 1. Is there a way to romance Preston? 2. And I finally found out how to romance Miss caraway but I can’t find out how to romance or even find the romance button for Schmidt… Can someone tell me where the button is or at least tell me how to romance him?

idonotlikeusernames-Maria’s uncle is older and more than a bit battleworn. Majestically bald and with his share of earned scars… so I suppose handsome for all that. Though there is no romance possible with him, there is certainly a chance to flirt a little because, well, men such as him are like that.
