Preston sighs. “You are the Marshal. You are entrusted to look after the County. I am the Sheriff, I look after the town. Our concerns overlap. However, were you to defer to me on town matters, I would be will to reciprocate with town resources, such as the open use of the Hotel until as such time as your office can be rehabilitated.”
Should be ‘… I would be willing to…’ instead of ‘I would be will to’
“It would appear so, for now.” Preston agrees, pushes away from the table.
Should be ‘pushing away from the table’ instead of ‘pushes away from the table’
My old Iphone freeze always after finish the second interlude, and needs a lot of time to load. But so far its an incredible game with a coherent good writing even better Apex Patrol for me
The following choices:
-[Skip Ahead-Not Recommended for first time players]
–
—…As a stoic follower of God, you have built your life on solid stone. It will not be washed away so easily.
Result in:
XT100035- That is all good stuff. I can hardly see the little errors sometimes.
Aznxa- The game isn’t finished. I’m close to completed chapter five (Maybe by Sunday, debugging permitting) but I have planned a total of eight. So, there is more.
MaraJade- Freezing after the second interlude… strange. Do you start chapter 4 at all?
And thank you for your compliment; I am striving to make Tin-Star the best it can be and still retain my sanity.
Had a look through it this morning, unfortunately real life called before I could get halfway through it. I did notice a couple of tiny errors though.
If you choose to have shot the girl, Priscalla as your background choice then when choosing “at least now it’ll be legal” in the Tumbleweed Jack scene on of the choices will be “Priscalla Upton felt the same way when I did him in”.
When going to see Andy in Albion Falls a page of the scene starts with the line “edit copy here” it is otherwise fine however.
Will test it some more when I have some more spare time.
Done a run through. First up when you get to the scene at Marshall James grave, no matter what option you choose the game loops back to the same set of options.
I also ran across several spelling glitches:
"I’d rather you got on with things. Should be: “I’d rather you got on with things.”
A Lady wearing a spotless white apron to match her fair skin… Should be: A lady wearing a spotless white apron to match her fair skin…
"I would like to reconsider your offer. Should be: “I would like to reconsider your offer.”
Yiska limps over, cocks his head at Caraway. “I’m so glad I could your entertainment.” Not sure what the plan was here.
Despite the very long odds, pull your pistol and go to work." Should be: Despite the very long odds, pull your pistol and go to work.
“Hartigan had too many men. I fought, but I could drop them all.” Should be: “Hartigan had too many men. I fought, but I couldn’t drop them all.”
Say nothing, let him talk." Should be: Say nothing, let him talk.
((start edit-copy here)) The scent of blood lies heavy in the air as the parlor door opens. There, just beyond the threshold, lies a man pale and shuddering for breath.
When you start heading up to the graveyard there seems to be a bunch of missing dialogue about it with Miss Caraway. You get several dialogue options that don’t have anything to do with the text above.
Finally, reaching the grave, every option causes an endless loop.
idonotlikeusernames- Good catches there. Especially the gender flip. I’m glad you are sticking with this. At five chapters, Beta testing becomes all the more difficult.
bezment78- Ah. Apparently I screwed up a bunch of goto statements. Fixing that as we speak.
Bloodwyche- You really have an eye for detail. Thank you.
bezment78- Is there one part of the Yiska legal advice portion where it crashes? If you have a sentence fragment, that will help me home in on things.
Shoelip- The graveyard part is puzzling me. Caraway’s entry dialogue shouldn’t be invisible (At least according to the code) and yet apparently it is. I will have to play it myself and see.
Matteller-Well done with Godfrey’s guns. I forgot to reset his store’s marker (He was a late addition) at the end of the scene.
Good character stats by the way. You are really up there on honor. I also notice that Miss Caraway is at a ninety influence. Did you avail yourself of her advice during an interlude?
