Yeah…I have seen some bugs in some of the released books and they are like that. Sometimes pronouncing is wrong, sometimes same thing is repeated…etc. Even the beta testers failed to catch all bugs.
I’ve made changes to the weapon list. For primary weapons, you can choose between:
- Greatsword
- Eveningstar
- Partizan
- Great Beak
- Great axe
- Maul
I’ve replaced the glaive with the partizan for now and added the maul. I thought the glaive didn’t really bring something unique to the table, compared to the partisan. I didn’t want to add too many weapons, so that I could make them all unique in some way.
The partisan is more like a spear than the glaive, while still being pretty polyvalent.
If you guys really want the glaive, or another weapon I might add just one more. But I don’t want to add more than seven. So if you can reach a consensus I’ll probably add it. I’m also thinking of adding a curved sword, so if you want one, you may ask.

Maybe. If I add one it’ll probably be a longer, thicker rapier, the same length as an estoc but with a basket hilt. At least that’s what I’m thinking.

I like sabers as well. On Shinra they’re mostly popular in the East, in Kriegsgard, Velzar and the surrounding countries. But you can find them in the West too.
Though I’d like weapons to be two-handed if possible. As a curved sword I was thinking that a kriegsmesser would be a good choice, since there are Messers of all sizes and shapes.
The spooky scary skeleton cavalry should definitely be a thing.
You mean changes I make to weapons? I’m mostly thinking “What would a champion use?”. Swords can get damaged just by hitting bones and considering the strength of someone like the Wight King, I’m thinking that a normal weapon wouldn’t survive for long.
So I try to think of what would suit someone with heroic strength best. Weapons can enchanted to be tougher, but normal weapons can suit them as well if they’re sufficiently durable.
I can’t pretend to be a weapon expert, so i’m doing my best to be logical about it.

I like the new weapons you added but I must admit I’m sad the glaive is gone and I don’t particularly like the partizan but hey you get to choose what you like but since I was playing dynasty warriors i was thinking weapons like Guan Yu’s weapon

Yeah I know but there were a lot of requests for a spear, and while I kinda like the glaive better, it’s less iconic. In a country inspired by asia, the guan dao or weapons like that would be much more fitting than the glaive is in Europe. I’ve seen much more bardiche than glaives for example.
