The Weighted World's Demo and i will love feedbacks

I’ve begun work on my new game, The Weighted World. In it, you play an average cultivator (keep this in mind) exploring this world and trying to understand occurrences around you and the reasons behind them(trust me, there’s a lot) but getting stronger comes first.

Currently it’s about 1(more like half a chapter actually) chapter done, and I plan on updating every 4 weeks.

Why is the story a small square?

Small question about the AI code, like was it a reference or did Ai literally write the code?

you will have to expand full screen to play and i dont understand why itch does that

code ideas like how to loop and what exactly each command meant.
the introduction to choicescript page is quite a lot

i dont understand waht you mean

is quite difficult to get AI to write the whole code without the subscription

Not to talk down on you or anything, but you know you can ask for help right? Either here on the forums or other places like skoraks discord server.

I just learned how to add screenshots but this is what im looking at I can for the most part but I have to zoom in and it cuts off some words and sentences on the right side. I use my tablet but other than that I’m looking forward to more

Hey, I upload on itch-io! I can help with that.

When uploading your compiled game, you should see this (although, you may see embedded or width by height):

Have these options selected so that the player can launch the game in their browser window. This is found in the edit screen right underneath uploading your compiled game.

EDIT: Sorry about that, do this step first:

I added a proper fight to Chapter 2

Since no one seems to have brought it up yet: you need to be careful with what you’re doing with AI. It’s okay to use AI images as placeholders in your WIP, but they need to be removed (or replaced with human-created artwork) if/when your game is published. (I assume since you posted in the Hosted Games forum that that is your goal.) More importantly, you won’t be allowed to use AI-generated code in the final product either, so you should probably start working now to replace that part of the code with your own work before you get much further into it. If there are things you can’t figure out how to do yourself, ask people here or look at the code of other games that have done something similar to see how other authors have done it.

Chapter 2 updated early due to severe game issue so logic errors are expected

I feel like the world is very unexplained. I read that “No one knows what’s outside the livable zones,” but I just felt like I had no idea what my purpose was besides to “Get stronger.” What is our character’s purpose?

Something that might help is adding some kind of codex or lore screen to the stats page so I can always go back to read anything I may have missed or forgot. Good luck on the rest of the game.
