if the MC wasn’t a vamp, how old would they be/look like?

No problem. If you mean how old they would be in the present time since they were born, well they’d be dead and buried if they weren’t a vampire. And probably dust seeing as you’re getting near 3000 years old.
If RO means romance which I assumed it does then I have to say, no their won’t be unfortunately. I know this will put a lot of people off. I did think about it for a while but the fact that you look like a 11-12 year old it’s probably just a little to messed up if you get my meaning? This game is about making connections with the characters though so I want to give you another option to replace this where you can chose your ‘companion’. A person where you can be yourself and trust implicitly to have your back. Who you can drop with ‘cold unfeeling’ facade with and such. I really want this game to be as much about the drama of the court life and the friendships you have the potential to make. Kind of like Bioware games if you’ve heard of them. They have really strong stories and then character arcs you can pursue with the npcs to make you connect with them better.

hehehe, no worries, I understand that having no ROs is pretty popular now.
I just hope it doesn’t put people off to much. I like the romance in these games as well but I guess we’ll see.
there could be a way round it though, according to a website some child nobles can be assigned to a higher class children as fiancée’s so that the family can benefit from the shared industry/land money when they are both old enough to marry. so perhaps there could be an option to be betrothed to another vampire who look the same age as the MC, only, they cannot marry due to the MC looking like a child or something so are married in spirit and so forth. its an idea, but not one of my best I admit.
I don’t think that a RO that also looks like a child really would help to make the romance any less weird in this case…

There are just too many pitfalls and red lines to avoid if you try to include romance…
Its not a matter of being popular its about getting the game published and past all the hurdles so you can make money and get other things published.
technically it wouldn’t be romance exactly, it would just be a marriage bond between two people.
sigh no, I guess it wouldn’t work I was just thinking of a way around it with the MC being a child that’s all. ignore me.

A marriage contract of the type you are suggesting involved a lot of things that are not acceptable to many people in today’'s western society.

I like the idea of being bonded via ‘spirit’ but yeah I don’t think it would be romance probably just what I mentioned as a ‘companion’ which is like becoming blood brothers/sisters and sharing a special bond. I imagine it’s the closest bond two vampires can make. Mostly it would be between partners but it’s not limited to that.
If that makes sense lol?

Sorry if this is asked, but will your character be going to school? I think it would be funny but just wondering.

Probably not as a continuous thing through the game. I would like to put your character going into a school as a small part of the game hopefully but it wouldn’t be for to long. I feel like it’s been done so many times that I’d like to try and stay away from it.

not at that age tho and many games on here that featured a vampire in a school setting died many without so much as a goodbye some might like it idk id like it

Yeah it’s very over done. If it happens it won’t be ‘oh i’m pretending to be human in a human school lalalala, etc, etc’. Probably more like ‘what the hell am I doing here?’ ‘I can’t believe I’m stooping so low to do this’.

I think the way to name your character is kind of new and unique, some might like it, many will think of it as something pointless.
You might have to tie it into the plot by something crucial.
Yeah I get that, quite a few people weren’t to happy about it, but it will by tied to the story and that of your Sire/Maker
