I feel like I wouldn’t make you directly descended from anyone super famous like that because, people might not be a fan and it’s a little restricting, but that might just be me. When I say 2000, it’s rough at the moment but it’s probably more than that. I’m imagine closer to the Greeks and Egyptains than the Romans, or the VERY early stages of the roman empire

I understand but in Cleopatra’s children’s case - they actually surviived and were raised by Agustus’ wife. Cleopatra and Antony’s daughter was then married off to a barbarian king :wink:

You just gotta add a child or two into the family that the historians and scholars forgot about… whatever you do chose will be great I’m sure.

I just like tying my fictional characters into the real world at times. :no_mouth:

very true, I think I’m just really tied to my idea of already being a vampire at this point lol, maybe on the younger side. But if this is the case, then I want to include interactions with famous/influential people throughout history. I’m not sure if it would be in a flash back? or maybe just told as a story by the MC.

I really think you should not it is limiting role-playing with no reason. If I want role-playing a guy who in his vampire youth decide go to nature and let civilization away… If you force a Well you were super famous in Comodo regime… well half of options melt away with no gain. I think is better left it ambiguous or a mere flavor choice to select like this if someone asking you.
I was in Rome I was fascinated by Politics and civilization.

I go to Barbarian lands I prefer relaxed live in Nature…

But that’s my view as a role player

Yeah, I agree with this. I’m a sucker for classical history so it’ll make it’s way in there one way or another hahaha, but it won’t be by locking a player into a certain line like that.

Also as bad as it is I’m an Augustus fan all the way hahaha. I have very little sympathy for Marc Antony and Cleopatra, they were in the way of Augustus’ grand plan of rebuilding Rome :slight_smile:

Augustus plan was taking Supreme control amd divine position. HE GIVES A SHIT ROMAN REBUILD. he was pretty and a great politician and the only roman capable of pacificate us Hispanics.

The amount of attention this game has managed to get in such a short time is almost staggering. Part of me is jealous that you’re able to win hearts and minds so easily.
That’s a compliment, in case I didn’t make it clear.

I looked through and found that most (if not all) of the spelling errors that were there on the first post are still there. It is incredibly distracting. I don’t think there was a single page where I didn’t notice an error of some kind. I highly recommend reading through yourself at least one more time, with special emphasis on punctuation and capitalization.

For example: Every single mention of Ms Carthy has her title wrong. It should be Ms. Carthy. With a period after Ms.
And whenever punctuation is used in a quotation, the punctuation point should be inside the quotation marks. You have it on the outside.

Thank you, I’m staggered as well to be honest. And I definitely understand what you mean by spelling and grammar. It’s something I’m really not good at but absolutely want to fix it all. It’s always been a problem for me so thank you for bringing it up, I want to make sure that when I go over everything, I fix it all and hopefully stop it from being such an eyesore hahaha.

I like how concise the game intro is. No long walls of text explaining every single aspect but good. manageable scenes. Can’t wait to see how this develops! ^-^

Thank you! And I have to admit, Sebastian did come to mind when I was brainstorming for this story :slight_smile:, your chaperone may not be like Sebastian, at least at the start (I want to give you the option to help shape your chaperones actions as well). But there are two other characters who will soon be introduced that will be more similar to him. They will become staff to your MC, it’s the best word I can come up with for them at the moment and will help you - or not (hehehe) through your story. Think advisors/bodyguard/political expert type thing.

I like this idea… though, silly as it may be with the MC’s circumstances, will there be more options to play into our appearance? As in, acting childishly at certain situations but then suddenly flipping to the serious millennia old vampire(ss)?

I’d like to yeah. I’d like to give you strategies for dealing with certain situations. One may be to act like a child and then ‘flip the switch’ and take everyone by surprise.

I’m surprised with how much I massively enjoyed this. It’s a very intriguing idea. The only thing I’ll say is maybe you should space the paragraphs a bit.
