Yes, I disappeared for a little over two months. Honestly, life hasn’t been easy during this time (thankfully, it’s nothing related to my health!), and I’ll be honest with you—when exhaustion sets in, discouragement follows. Still, it was a mistake on my part to stay silent for so long (especially when I have a Patreon).
That said, even with my complications, I kept working on development whenever possible. This new update brings new features and several changes that, while not huge, are fundamental for the future updates and additions I plan to implement in the game.

One of my biggest issues is that I don’t like showing up unless I have a solid update to present—and that’s usually what causes these long absences. Now, with real life making this gap even longer than usual, I think it’s a clear sign that I need to change how things work.
Some of you might have noticed that this update is labeled “0.1.3a”—it didn’t have a letter before, but now it does. This is because I’m shifting my focus to releasing smaller, much more frequent updates to avoid prolonged inactivity. Whenever a new update is released but is a minor one, the version number will remain the same, and only the letter will progress to the next in the alphabet.
Simple and straightforward.
To accompany this change, I’ve already scheduled this week’s calendar:
- 12/09 (Today): Update 0.1.3a
- 12/10: Update 0.1.3b + Q&A September Answers + Q&A December Questions (Patreon)
- 12/11: Update 0.1.3c + Unreleased Sketches of Ellen and Kawabata (Patreon)
- 12/12: Update 0.1.3d + Unique Dungeon Polls (Patreon)
- 12/13: Update 0.1.3e + Start discussing Custom Magic Spells submitted by you
Every day will have small updates.
I had already written the Q&A September Answers, but in the rush, I forgot to post it. Yes, I’m a bit stupid sometimes. To make up for it, I’ll make the entire Q&A publicly available for everyone, with no Patreon restrictions.
To further compensate, this month’s Q&A will include the number of questions that should have been in October and November, and the theme will be open for you to ask whatever you’d like.
I’ll also begin the Unique Dungeon Polls, where you’ll get to decide some aspects of the dungeons. I don’t want to spoil too much, but, for example, you’ll be able to choose some of the rewards that can be earned in the Enchanted Forest Dungeon.
Finally, over the weekend, I’ll personally reach out to everyone who submitted spell suggestions to discuss the best way to incorporate your ideas into the game.
All of these upcoming updates will be public—you won’t need to pay anything.
