The Thousand Of Us (WIP)(Updated + Rewrite Completed)

Oh in that case I would like to suggest mental powers like telekinesis or mind control, I don’t know if as separate powers or if as a kind of evolved version of the telepathy power that is already in the game but I think being able to have a mental power without counting the mind reading one would be great

Telekinesis is something I’ve also thought of adding when I’ve gone far enough or finished so I guess it’ll be more set in stone now, and I think I’ll try to make it clearer that Telepaths in the game would be able to control other people and also mess peoples brains up.

Is there any chance for Gravikinesis to be a power or is Density control supposed to be the substitute for it and Yes I am asking because I was Chibaku Tensei my enemies.

Oh I see, anyway I also wanted to ask something, if you have the power of necromancy and you can control the spirits of the dead, does that mean you can also control corpses? Normally I know that this can be done with necromancy but I don’t know if it will be different here since the powers do not have a magical origin like in medieval fantasy stories🤔

:joy: This was literally the first power I put in the list of powers to be added when the time comes.

In fact, I’ve been debating whether to play with Divine Arsenal or Time Manipulation, as they are the most interesting powers to me, but I’ve decided that I’ll play with Divine Arsenal first.

It’s like this for the necromancy in the game.
Every living thing has an essence, and when they die that essence remains on earth and slowly dissipates over time, also contributing to the natural energy of the world, that’s why the longer a person or creature stays dead before you revive them, the weaker they’ll be and of even less use to you. Another factor in essences is the power of an essence. An essence can be powerful enough that you end up fully reviving that person from the dead with all their abilities and life in tact, but the persons essence would be bonded to yours and they’ll have to submit to your will.

Made it like this for two reasons:

1: making necromancers control actual corpse could lead to some extremely gore shit in the game.

2:  I guess part reason was cause I just wanted to make my own explanation for necromancy in the game

Do you have your villains in mind?

Because so far this shit ain’t fair😂 you got mr “I can be sharp” , miss “I’m Iron man 3 Tony stark smart” then there’s the MC whose either: what Dio wished he was, a broken jjk character (pocket demension is a domain expansion you can’t tell me otherwise!), Gilgamesh+ (not even he has Excalibur and a voice telling him exactly what he needs) or just becomss SUNG JINWOO??

I mean whose fade are we even preparing to run? Goku’s??

Makes sense I guess :upside_down_face: there’s really only one thing I think I’d like to suggest. That you added a small prologue of the MC in a normal day in his life, I mean, before the end of the world, this so that when selecting both the appearance and the abilities of the protagonist, they are not simply selected. Also, this way you could have a little background of the protagonist, ¿how was his life? How was the relationship with his parents? ¿What was he talented at? Do he have any regrets or trauma? Is there someone or something he is going to miss from the old world? This in order to better understand the MC’s past, I don’t know about you but if I woke up in an apocalyptic world and discovered that I now have superpowers… well, it would probably be a lot to assimilate since although for the other characters the world ended long ago for him was like it ended yesterday. Sorry if something I say is hard to understand, I’m from Mexico so my English isn’t perfect

:joy: trust me you might edit this later on shit gets all new levels of hard from when you face Adam, actually in the relationships stats page nearly everyone in this game has already been created and put there, but you’ll have to meet them before they show up, if not you’d have seen Adam’s power there. and he is just one of the challenges.

You might randomly (though a very very slim chance)encounter Nyrok in one of your ventures out of camp to forage food or resources, and let’s not mention the big last fight. really trust me when I say I was looking out for your MC’s well being when I gave them all the power I could.

Yeah. Makes sense, I’ll try to see what I can do on background.

Finished the demo and enjoyed it, reminds me of a book I read long ago about a region where a bubble appeared and locked everyone inside. The adults all disappeared, but the teens and kids developed power. The protagonist of the story actually had light powers.

I really liked the diversity in powers, if I have any advice it’s to not focus too deeply on making branches of the story focus on a specific power. It will save you a lot of time, but I do like you experimenting with what the powers can do.

My favorite powers were Necromancy (controlling minions is always cool) and density control (to feel like a god). Time control and regeneration are nice because I always like to see creativity in how they can be used offensively against someone stronger.

If there were ever a power I’d like, it would be some kind of monster transformation. I just love giant monsters, kaiju, all the destruction they cause is so fun.

Oh ¿what was the name of that book? Sounds good

The first book is “Gone” by Michael Grant.

@Ivan_WM Since we can suggest powers I might as well put some down from my opinion.

  1. Animal Shapeshifting (can even include dinosaurs too)
  2. Draconic Powers with draconic features showing (and can include not only using them in humanoid form but also transforming into a dragon. Could even work if you wanted to do the whole Dragon Monarch from Solo Leveling)
  3. Demonic Powers (either for the whole Naruto & Kurama build or Dante and Virgil from Devil May Cry)
  4. Tech based powers that can include either a Predator build, Power Armors, Robots like the Robotic Mastermind from CoH, a flying tech fortress as a base or all of the above though Idk if the super intellect already includes that.
  5. Blood Magic
Also, you might want to change the Necromancy name to Shadow Necromancy instead. I hope it also includes Shadow Manipulations.

I’m scared.

Also, I REALLY love the description of the book, the premise seems extremely interesting ^-^ I wonder how you’ll make time manipulation not too OP unless it’s not just “Haha, time’s stopped. Lemme just bonk you in the head with this dude’s divine mace.” and just “look at that, Da Future. :eye::lips::eye:

Who remembers wellspring? I remember wellspring… I feel like we’re beyond good with the powers we have… Actually personally I’d prefer we vote on three of the availabile powers and scarp the rest having a few fleshed out powers with creative uses ( Ala Vendetta) is better than 60 powers that aren’t (the hero or villain series) or worst yet a really cool dead wip (Ala Wellspring and the one my hero academia cog).

In fact if we go even further into my personal opinions you’d find me thinking the author should take the ones he enjoys writing most and go nuts with those.
