I am honestly beyond shocked with how these polls are even going. I swear I thought the people toping the polls were gonna be Joana, Riley, and Darren in order. But across platforms Olivia is leading with such crazy numbers she basically takes an entire half of the poll. Ha Eun who I thought wouldnāt make it to the top 4 is consistently number 2 everywhere, and Joana is in number 3 (not 1 or 2). Then Riley is getting so few votes youād think she has the least scenes out of them all.
This poll just opened my eyes to actually see I can be pretty wrong in my estimates of what people want in this book. Now Iām pretty much contemplating polling Avery against 3rd place on the poll to see who people would prefer staying.

Iāve gone through this fight scene on the Super speed route thoroughly, and I havenāt really seen where the problem is or anything.
The only mention I see of āstopā in the interaction with the Unthing is this:
āDamn, stopping them is gonna be a pain if Iām not able to come in contact with them,ā You think to yourself when it suddenly comes to your mind, āOr I donāt have to stop them at all. I remember hearing something about them being attracted by life and going after the closest thing alive. If I could draw them in with my life as bait and use my speed to keep them occupied by constantly leading them in a circle while evading any attacks, maybe I could trap them until those guys get to safety.ā
And in this scene youāre talking about physically stopping the Unthing, and not telling them to stop. If this isnāt the scene you are talking about, and youāre seeing something else, please tell me so I could know what to correct.
It was leading the Unthings around. Allowing others to escape. Eve gets involved using plants to intercept as well. While I just kept running around. Then once finished. Eve goes to me, I called the undead back.
Maybe it was a bug at that moment. Not sure. Havenāt went back to it and not sure if can copy paste it. Will try. Others think its easy even if on mobile app. It isnāt in my case. Will try! Pretty certain saved right before. Which might of been the issue?
Yeah, this definitely seems like a momentary bug, cause thereās nothing on my end that could possibly cause you to suddenly call the Unthing back.

Summary
You run out of the cabin and immediately begin assessing the situation.
Noticing the scorch marks the Unthings leave on the ground as they walk by, you immediately recall overhearing a few conversations at the bonfire last night talking about the Unthing and their corrosive nature.

You take a deep breath after the plan forms in your head, then you speed up and run past the campers getting chased and draw the attention of all the Unthing after them. You begin a trend of getting close enough to each of them to agitate them then easily avoiding their attacks and backing away to safety. You continue messing with them and going in circles until you finally see that all the camp members have retreated inside.
āOkay, Everyoneās safe. What now?ā
Youāre brought out of your thoughts when vine tendrils suddenly burst forth from the ground and start wrapping up Unthing and taking them in the air. The ground then suddenly begins to rumble and a giant Venus fly trap-looking plant springs out of the ground and the vines lower all the Unthings into its mouth, before retreating back underground.
With the threat of the Unthing fully neutralized by what you assume to be the work of Eve, you command the undead, āReturn.ā
āAre you alright?ā Eve runs up to check on you.
āIām alright, Iām just curious to know what the hell is going on.ā
āI have just as many questions as you,ā Eve says, āBut all signs show that what Joana announced last night about the Unthingās newfound hive behavior is progressing faster than we thought, and they are getting closer than ever. Before now the record number of Unthing weāve seen together was 3 and that seemed to have been a random coincidence, not something entirely targeted.ā
This incident coupled with Joanaās talk on the matter last night is starting to make you wonder, āWhat are the chances this is all being done by someone who has the ability to control Unthings?ā
Eve responds, āWeāve had those theories, but we pushed them aside as the worst-case scenario no one is just keen on believing until weāve crossed every other thing off. Cause I donāt know about you, but to most people in this group, the mere knowledge of there being a single individual that can freely control a deadly army of Unthings that could potentially number in the billions across the globe is enough to throw the entire group in disarray before the Unthing army even gets here.ā
Just thinking about it makes you realize how grand of a scale someone would be playing at if they controlled this kind of army.

I think what went wrong is definitely a momentary glitch, cause in the code, right after this scene, regardless of what path you took to get here you immediately go to the free roam aspect where the game currently ends for Super speed.
Itāll probably be normal the next time you run a playthrough on it.
