Loving the rewrite so far. I have the benefit of time in that I’ve forgotten most of the game and this has been a real treat. Just a question, does anyone know if the Patreon exclusive content like the What if? series and explicit intimate scenes will be available upon full release or will that strictly stay a Patreon thing?

Yes we must be better when we have kids in game (adpoted or biological). The world does not need another generation of screwed up royals. Thou i’m not too sure if we want our silbins around them? How would they be as uncle and aunts i wonder?

Wait is it only king’s kids that can go in front of the sword or anyone of royal blood. If our cousin was know and came infront of the sword with the rest of us could he have been chosen?

Probably only direct descendants I would imagine. If the father was deemed unworthy, they lose their chance of inheritance. Though whether that actually reflects the reality of the sword is up to debate. Theoretically could a random person walk in front of the sword and be chosen?

I don’t remember if it was left unclear, now that I think about it, but I get the feeling that if Erwin was there and not sworn to fire guy there is a chance the sword could skip over us all and opt for him instead. But also I don’t know if that’s from this rewrite or a holdover remembering from the original game.

The more I read this the more I have a feeling that the whole royal family needs therapy. Desperately. I’m talking twice a day each, and that is to make them even slightly stable human beings.

Yep. It was exactly what I meant if the sword doesn’t or can’t pick cousins. It should be able to. Otherwise, I doubt the line would stick anyway then. It technically has to.
Cause the other poster insists my adopted kid (if she still around in rewrite) ends up dead or wants my adopted kid to die.

I enjoyed the original and finally had the time to try this rewrite. I think your writing style has matured and I’m very pleased by the many upgrades. The characters are all much more multifaceted and feel much more realistic as people. Even father is relatable.
I haven’t really read through this thread, what do people think of the mysterious lady with the hourglass necklace? There was also a point where I was convinced we would discover Mateo was our father but the conversation between him and mother has me doubting it.
Again @NutellaQueen thank you for improving your craft and revisiting this story. I think you are doing it justice.

I was present at the first WIP and I remember becoming obsessed with it at the time. It was really something I thought about all the time. I played the first game, and I liked it too. I was very frustrated with some things, but overall, I liked it.
Now, nothing had prepared me for this remake. It’s impressive how you managed to do such a great job with this rich and interesting universe you created. I’m someone who loves fantasy, and unfortunately, I’ve lost interest in modern fantasy because the readings on the subject nowadays is kinda lame. But what you write is exactly the kind of thing I want to read. I’m, once again, obsessed with your writing. It’s true that it’s matured in many ways, and I end up replaying the game at least once a week. I eagerly await the next update, and even more eagerly for the full game.
After you finish this saga, the meteor can fall on Earth and it’ll be fine because there won’t be anything cooler to do.

When I chose the romantic path with Clara, my morality went down by 2 points. Is that a bug?

Probably because you know that Richard is into her but still decide to openly pursue her but I’m not sure what the stat changes for the forbidden romance path are either. Plus there isn’t much difference between open and forbidden path as of right now— that I’ve found substantial anyway.

Is anyone else pissed at Nic for not showing up to the coronation? I’m very aware of how into himself he is and how into themselves his father and people are. But we clearly also had something special! He had every reason to come to the coronation! 1) As a young king in training who’s trying to build alliances, from a strategic stand point, he should had showed up to show (at the very least) some interest (if not some respect and support) for my Kingdom’s culture. 2) Since he fell so hard for the third born, he should had showed up just to show support for me on the most nerve racking night of my life right after my father passed! 3) I’m also supposed to be his future wife! Him coming would have shown (at least a little bit) a committed first step and serious concern for the health of our future as friends, lovers, spouses and co-rulers. I mean come on! 
Now, I’m not entirely stupid. I didn’t really expect Nic to show up. I’m just saying it would have been nice if he had. It’d be even nicer if he had surprised me with a visit.
I’m also in no way asking @NutellaQueen to rewrite the scene to make him show. I’m just asking for an opportunity to ball him out for this the next time I see him as Queen of Rhivenia. Please, please, please! let this be in the plan. 
And he better show some remorse, even if it’s in his jerky way of doing things first and acting all sweet later to make up for it, like he did with that stupid wonderfully gorgeous flower (that got me hooked on him in the first place).
Without that flower I wasn’t paying Nicholas no mind. In fact, my high standards and high hopes was gunning for Daemir before his blonde haired, blue eyed self came with that flower. He completely threw me off my game and has the nerve to not show??? O, he’s gonna hear some words!

I’m confident we can or at least try to rebuild our relationship with Richard (whether because we care/love our half-brother or to prevent a potential rebellion), and the prophecy may be wrong, for fate can always be changed

Iirc, it’s been stated the only thing he won’t forgive is you pursuing Clara just to spite him; genuine love, he’ll get over.
Granted, that was said during the last version. Idk if that’ll stay true.
