I wonder what are going to be the circumstances to adopt her now and how she will be an orphan, and if it’s going to be someone’a fault, NOT TO MENTION ANY NAMES, or if it’s going to be because of the GREAT AND MAJOR BATTLE mentioned by Nutella on Tumblr.
And if it’s still the former, it’s pretty horrible if you think about it lol.

Yes there was a girl u could adopt in the original. You basically helped each in the mass poisoning. She was basically set up to be your heir if you were king or queen even if she doesn’t understand the specifics of it and the work that would have to be done. No one questions it. Perfect for an MC not in interested in getting a partner ensuring a heir. Wonder if something similar will happen in this one.

The original demo of book 2 did have another child the MC could adapted if they the one been chosen by the sword, so maybe in this version we can adapted more then one child

Yeah it’s going to be awkward as heck explaining that if it’s a thing to her. Here’s your new mum that committed a mass murder for a guy in another place cos he’s got unresolved family issues and probably doesn’t know everything that exactly happened leading to it.

Not just mass murder, didn’t Astryn just… give her throne to him, thus allowing him to start this whole war on the first place AND killing even more people in the process?
This is on the original version, on the rewrite the fault lies within Astryn’s father who goes “Aight then, let’s take your throne and do this holy war against Namherys!”
I wonder if most of the things Astryn did of bad in the OG are going to happen because of her father lol.

Do you have any idea how hard you have to work to make me unironically say “you absolute idiot, you should’ve murdered this pregnant woman and her baby”? Yet somehow, Charlie Brown manages to disappoint. My character doesn’t even hate him as a dad, he’s just perfectly apathetic since Charlie Brown’s absence has frankly been a minor inconvenience at worst.
Ngl, I’m doing a good playthrough, but this makes me wanna give him the finger at every turn

I hope mc can can pull some great tactics to finish him off and punish Southerners and all traitor vassals who tried to take advantage of situation like lena. So far mc hasn’t done anything great he is just mostly reacting instead of taking initiative.
he doesn’t even give any counter offer to lena to try keeping them as vassals. Still hasn’t dealt with freya situation and is just keeping eyes waiting for situation to get worse instead of assasinating pirate before anything bad can happen.he is not trying to make any new alliance by marriages and other means to make his faction powerful to win war. He has two empty seats for queens and his siblings are unmarried. Which is great useful tool. He is still propobaly waiting for erwan to attack or do something without doing anything himself.And many more things which I haven’t counted.

If I recall correctly, Matteo would gift the MC a sword, a bow or a dagger depending on what combat skill was the main focus of said MC, but now he only gives us a dagger. Is there a meaning for that?

Well the dagger has always been a symbol of backstabbing or deceit, so maybe the author is trying tell us that a lot of people will screw our MC, like lets be honest our MC’s siblings mainly Richard and Freya are flashing red flags, I am still curious when Atheris will fully show hers that rivals the other two siblings, Richard the fool who I personally want to appoint as court jester is just finding ways to indirectly kill our MC, like that whole threat to Lena and finding favor with the people, which is not bad but down right villainous when you don’t put support behind your younger sibling that was optionally there for you through out your life and a chance show up to pay it back, you then enjoy people injurying one of the few people who truly loved you and then comes Freya who is in a love affair with a pirate that got other pirates looking for him, like bruh if you love the pirate just leave the kingdom and not create a scenario with you being captured and used as a hostage by the pirates to have ransom because that is where I see this is going, along with the consequences of doing said ransom by which there is decrease in war funds and economy and not doing ransom, which will cause the loyalty of the people in the MC to falter and possibly causing a repeat of that Francis rebellion

True. I was just apathetic to him because quite honestly, I find Charlie Brown to be an absentee father who I don’t even need to think about; factually speaking, he’s terrible, but in practice, I’m rich, I have a loving mother, an adorable attack dog, and the adoration of the people I don’t treat like sh*t, why should I care that he’s not there? At least he’s not around enough to screw me over or anything. I guess my apathy stems from not dealing with him enough to take issues with his flaws on a deeper personal level even when objectively he’s a horrible person to even be associated with.

He’s just going for a record for the highest amount of hell I can unleash on everyone while not being around to see the aftermath of it. We still haven’t seen everything that idiot did in his life in our visions yet. Maybe he should have actually written the important stuff so his successor can shut down the crap faster instead of suddenly having a change of heart for his neglected heirs. He only won our young sis over but that’s cos she’s soft despite her own mess ups.

A good playthrough wouldn’t forgive this pathetic man at all, and just move on by trash talking him one last time.
Charles deserves no forgiveness, he had plenty of time to fix the issues he caused but he only did so because he was dying and had the war coming.
He only started to do something useful for once when it was too little and too late, guy deserves nothing and losing like 3% morality is a nothing burger
It wouldn’t shock me if Atheris was a red herring in terms of disloyalty, or more likely, only caused problems in a effort to “help the family”
Like so far, she is impulsive but knows when the to calm tf down, she doesn’t do the poison if we veto the idea for one such instance.
If anything I think it will depend on if we are distant to the sisters or not and why would we? Atheris and Freya are trouble but they are MY problematic siblings.
My bet is that she either pisses off peasants or completely refuses to entertain diplomacy or political marriage (iirc doesn’t she mention she doesn’t want it?)
