Chapter seven is peak! Beautifully written; rly hit me in the feels
While I’m disturbingly obsessed with this game, I’m finding almost no opportunities/changes to affect personality stats, esp. the shy & mercy stats. Its rly interfering w my gameplay enjoyment…
I don’t wanna be a party pooper here but the crown was always going to be given to the MC. Clara love, no matter what reason she was instantly smitten with the MC immediately they laid eyes on each other, the people haven’t fully accepted the MC and the duel, to be honest it is the only injury physically and emotionally blow that was landed on Richard from the MC resulting in Richards ego vanishing and bringing shame on him, his mom, and grandfather
Same I would rather work my way to get stuff instead of getting a free pass because the story demands it. Whatever, the sword may or may not have given the crown to the worst person depending what we do with it even though our hands are bound for now even if we turned Richards supporters on him winning public favor and living with someone who clearly has it out for us. I wish we could end the threat Richard poses.
I think for now you can’t turn the people against Richard per se but more like you can make the people love you more, up to 55% I think was what I could get by talking to commoners first and letting them near me.
No yet there isn’t. They turn on Richard but they are probably not fully supporting us yet. Still a bit of work to do for that. There will probably be options to do it without destroying his reputation eventually.
I’ve been as nice to Richard as I could (including getting the toy horse engraving on the sword, which I loved his reaction to at the duel) and he’s still spiraling on his own, but I honestly feel really bad for him. He’s been raised by a mother projecting her plans onto him after she was horribly wronged and both she and his grandfather make him feel worthless when he isn’t “winning” against his siblings. He doesn’t have a full blooded sibling connection like MC does (no one unconditionally on his side while the two families are pitting the kids against each other) so that must feel lonely/isolating as well. On top of overhearing his father whom he looked up to saying he was useless, his mother basically admitting to herself that she hates him and the person he’s in love with only having eyes for MC… He’s been really going through it. I can’t blame him for acting the way he has been tbh, I just hope there’s a path for it to work out with him in the end Please don’t be a repeat of the situation with MC’s father and his brother sob
Honestly I do hope the repeat does happen or at least the option pops up because so far, he has proven to be nothing but an obstacle alongside his family.
It’s best to put them into their place or get them out of the way in my eyes
