This is on top of the whole pirate issue too. We would be surrounded by ALL sides of we broke deals.

Don’t forget that making deals with pirates means that the common folk hate you, because pirates apparently went on a murder spree about the kingdom once already. Like, that’s the whole point of Freya+pirate being a problem that you’re asked to keep secret.

There’s no real reason to marry freya to xavier when you can marry lena and gain both an ally in their court and an continuation to the heirline. Attempting to take their kingdom will only lead to their side aiding the enemy in the war.
I bet we can just conquer there kingdom if they become our enemy’s or just help Xavier reclaim it if we romance him.
