I noticed the word count decreased considerably from the first two books, and also slightly from Book 1 to Book 2. Is Book 3 the short one of the series so to speak, or will they keep getting shorter as it goes on? 
Usually it’s the other way around

@Kirlett Tbh, I have no idea how COG measures word count. The first game, my word count read 800K but COG put it down to 470K. Second game, my count was 300K but COG put it to 400K. This time, my count was 260K, and COG put it at 260K. Basically, by my count, TSSW 3 is only slightly smaller than TSSW 2. As for the next books, I cannot say lol.

Per COG rules, words count includes code.
Maybe it has something to do with that.

@Rinnegato Maybe the reason is that I’ve gotten much more efficient at coding now compared to when I started off

Hi I love this series and I’m so exited book 3 just came out!! I was playing through Manerkol’s route and I wanted to check if the book is supposed to end right after your soul stone remembers the lost city? It just seemed very short and abrupt, thanks in advance <3

I think it is the real ending but I was also surprised with how short it was. I was like “wait, aren’t we like halfway at most?” Felt a bit like a demo was ending instead of a whole book

[spoiler] Is there any way to get the success achievement in the library heist because I was able to get through Earth and water before the update and now I can’t even get through Earth before getting caught what type of stats do I have to have to receive the Piece Of Cake
achievement or if it’s not my stats then what do I need to do?

@Oceana_47 Hey there! How well you do in the heist has to do wit how well you did at the end of book 2, aka what state is Eledwen in when you free her?
If she awake and moving around during book 3, you got the best result and you can get all the way to air. (You can even attempt fire, and you won’t get caught cause Eledwen will get you)
Second best is her being awake abut confined to the infirmary. That can get you up to water, but you can get it to air if you pick the air pedestal at the start of the heist.
If Eledwen is unconscious during book 3, you’re cooked. You can get it to water at best if you pick the air pedestal.

I enjoyed book one really really lot. The book two wasn’t bad and the hesit plot with romance and relationships and stone quests on the side were fun.
But the book three was really really bad. Nothing happened. You arrive at the Resistance, you talk a bit, you talk with your companions you try to delve into the mystery of the cities, you talk with your stone a bit. And then the game ends. Nothing happened. It was such a let down. Like at one point I was asked if I want to share the information about what happened by the Fountain with Rai, I choose to not. Because by that point I didn’t get to spend enough time with them. Thinking there would be more moments for me to make up my mind about them, if my character would trust them. But there was nothing. Like this is a new character. You would expect there would more focus on them. So I can spend time together. But there was nothing. This book was hilariously bad,. It felt rushed. Like Morgan was doing nothing for a long time, and then suddenly remembered there was a book to continue so you crancked out something in rush. It needed at least, at least one more chapter.

@hapamama93 You need to either learn Dae’s secret or be on Manerkol’s route and ask him go go easy on Eledwen. Or be on her route and send her vitality 
But if you learn Dae’s secret, Eledwen will always be consious, no matter which route you’re on.

O i did learn her secret! Is she always in the hospital nmw i do? Like was i too late? Do i have to make a deal or something to get there in time? 
@hapamama93 She will always stay in the infirmary, but it has three different variations. If she’s at her best, she gets out from the infirmary and comes to the mess hall and the library heist. Second best outcome, she can be in the infirmary and awake and lucid, but she won’t be up and about. And lastly, she can be in the infirmary and completely unconscious.
The only way to get her up and about and moving outside the infirmary is if you learn Dae’s secret AND are on either Manerkol’s or Eledwen’s routes.

Y’all I’m playing book 1…I don’t know what the flip is going on but I keep trying to get all the rage/kill options. Like for the mob…but I can’t get it no matter what I do.
I killed the bandits. So you’d think that’d trigger the rest. When I played Morkai and Strassa path, it was there. Now I’m doing Manerkol and keep having to restart because the option isn’t there when I get to the scene.
Anybody, have the guide that use to be up or knows which options lead to it? I just want to get to book three already but I’m playing a specific MC. 
I would ask in the book 1 thread but last I checked it doesn’t look like that many people are active and I need help.
Edit: Nevermind…idk if Google is right but it said I needed to have a certain level of combat or magic. Which makes sense I think because on M&S route I had higher combat than anything.
i have the 2nd best situation w E and I followed instructions and couldn’t get the right one…I’m dying. And feel silly.
