@Havenstone, @Shoelip Can a perfect being create imperfection? Why not? Perfection is eternal. That’s a common saying. It’s also static… boring. Imperfect beings evolve, imperfect beings are interesting… If I were a perfect being (lol), that’s what I would want to see.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned Hell; I doubt I will, because it wouldn’t add anything to the story, imo. Other more amusing alterations are present in the story to show it isn’t the ‘real’ world: the world is flat, according to the jinn, for one.
@tenryu Lol I had thought the jinn mentioning the earth was flat was your kind of tongue in cheek way of pointing out the thoughts of people around that time in history. Kind of an interesting thought if it’s true…Is the earth also the center of the universe (literally and figuratively) ? Would make sense in this case since God has Man as the most important creatures.

@Sarsmos Well, it’s funny either way (which is a plus for me), but I did mean it to be true. The celestial mechanics are unclear to me atm (meaning there’s been no reason for me to work them out), so how the Celestial Court, the mortal world, and the Realm of Light are connected is currently unknown.
@stsword I would love to have an underwater battle because the mastery of the shapeshifting Art is underpowered atm, but sadly all the action seems to be on dry land so far. I remember reading about that when I was researching animals with weird and wonderful abilities. They punch so fast and hard they actually cause plasma to form or something. I did want to use one of them somewhere…

Added the last side-quest, the first bits of the jinni romances (well, just initial conversations) and some continuation bits. It ends when you get to Solomon’s birthday or the city choices.
You have the chance to tell me if there’s anything specific you would like to ask Vineah or Samodai, or if you feel their personalities could be improved.
Okay, tenryu, while it’s not applicable to most of my playthroughs, but something the MC might ask their fellow djinni is what being a member of their tribe would be like, what their place would be if they joined the tribe. Rival, right hand djinni, consort, warrior queen, advisor?
I am a Muslim and I should know about Jinn because they are in Islam. Jinn are creatures with free will made from smokeless fire. What a christian may call a DEMON e.g. Lucifer
@stsword Mantis Shrimps taste good. Turning into anything that tastes good would be, in my opinion, a bad decision. Besides, I thought shapeshifting is limited to size. Turning into a giant shrimp wouldn’t seem to adhere to that idea. Or would it? Because technically I can control what I shapeshift into… So, could I turn into a demon if I felt like it?
There seems to be a bug. With the accomplishment of the 4th Task, it says my existence is still intact, yet before that, even after immediately wining against Vineah with the 7th Art, Existence still drops to blemished.
@tenryu I also found another bug. When listing my accomplishments it says that I “Created the wisdom of Solomon for the betterment of mortal man.” in place of what I think should have been the line for creating the Torch.
@stsword Fixed a bunch of these, even in the old scenes. Very weird my last search didn’t find them, but I think I’ve found them all this time. I’ll add some more about the marut and ifrit tribes.
@MIGhunter You need to raise a stat to a particular level (80, well, 81 really) to master the Art. Do this by choosing to use the Art when you have the chance and choosing the appropriate (im)moral options in the game. Qutub allows you to master an Art with a stat 10 points lower.
@SmartKid737 I’ve drawn a lot from both the Islamic and Abrahamic faiths as part of the background of the story. In particular, the powers of the jinn closely resemble what they are reputedly able to do in the Islamic faith. Note the jinn are not demons in the game, but given free choice by God, some have become evil.
@Wyrmspawn, @stsword A jinni can alter the size of the animal form, but there is an upper limit. I guess the plate-sized spider is probably the upper limit. On the other hand, you retain superior strength in animal form no matter the size, so size isn’t everything.
@Gadriel Hmm, I’ve looked at the code a lot and cannot find the problem. Where you can achieve an instant win against Vineah, it really should not result in a wound. The only possibility is if you choose a different Art first before resorting to the instant win. I’ll have to test it more.
Well, I have masteries of the 3rd and 6th Arts when I face Vineah. I do not know if that might be part of the problem. My Vanity is at 80, and when I go immediately for using the 7th Art, I also attain the mastery. Also, in the instant win case, the text states that you are both utterly unruffled and bruised. I hope that helps.
