My best friend Diego always says I am a gay in a woman body. Due I like the shy cute pale guys that you want hug.
Here it looks like I would find at least.one interesting guy.
Cog and winterwolves are oasis, in many other companies games lol, is terrible all Heterosexual boys are cut same pattern like all same. Me macho me strong me muscles. Me protect weak woman…
You will romance your hand random brute… Seriously, Some people forget that metrosexual exists…
You know I think it might be fun to play a prince kidnapping Giant sometime, you always know just how to plant the craziest ideas in my head mara. ![]()
Nethica and Sebby don’t seem to be super-macho either. In fact I think Nethica is more or less stated to be the male mc’s main competition for most gorgeous guy in Ophaesia. ![]()
Sincerely You just have to portrait one of these bad otome muscle guys that are always saying I am not gay and that offensive stuff … And give them a club they are already giants. Apologies to giants they probably would talking better than typical muscles romance option
Sebriel definitely has a preference for men, but from the moment I created him, I knew he had a fluid sexuality. He’s more pansexual than anything. It’s an important aspect of his character, so that’s not going to change.
Correct. Some of the other RO’s have family ties to other countries, though.
Nethica is very much a pretty boy and proud of it, and Sebriel would not be considered traditionally masculine.
See cogs are awesome. I have multiple options and a opportunity of poisoning my way to the throne.
Mara happy
What is the political structure like in the Mytean Priesthood, @Fawkes?
Questions like these – in-depth world-building questions – will be answered soon, but not on here. It’s related to the behind-the-scenes work I’m doing. ![]()
Well, I’d certainly recommend making one of the others exclusively gay, if you do cut him (like the new guy, for example?).
Well, lots of gay stories are like this, too…
The bara genre is all about super muscly guys, and the yaoi genre is generally full of those sorts of gendered dynamics even between gay couples… ![]()
True that.
I prefer the Western Counterpart to Bara, on occasion, which is basically me saying I like the drawings and art of Tom of Finland. ![]()
Ugh, the Seme and Uke roles where the Uke (bottom) is mostly the shorter more extraverted and feminine one and the Seme the taller, darker, broodier and more masculine one. Then again Yaoi unlike western gay art was more aimed at women and Japanese ones at that from the beginning and that still reverberates today though there is an increasing amount of subversions and ones aimed at gay guys now.
And I do share that sentiment even though I think I’ll probably stick to Sebby and Nethica, hard to see how the new guy could trump them for me. That’s just my personal view though and I do think the game balance could use an exclusively gay male RO. So if you do end up cutting Mavrys please make the new guy gay. By the way would you be cutting Mavrys from the game entirely or just from the potential RO pool?
The RO for my warrior princess will be Atheron.
Really enjoying the game! I love politics game, and being so far down the list of heirs is quite interesting. Also, just wondering, is there a post with info on the ROs? I have not found anything so far.
Anyways, looking forward to more, and shaping the future of Ophaesia! I wonder if you can bring down the monarchy entirely and become the republican leader of the nation…
Current announced ROs :
May change
Kaedra - female, noble, bisexual. Fair skin, very dark red hair, grey eyes.
Atheron - male, well-bred, straight. Tanned skin, black hair, black eyes.
Senetha - male, bisexual. Sun-kissed skin, golden blond hair, blue-green eyes.
Pythia - female, bisexual. Brown skin, dark brown hair, one blue eye & one green eye.
Nethica - male, noble, bisexual. Deep olive skin, black hair, dark blue eyes.
Mavrys - male, noble, gay. Sun-kissed skin, light brown hair, hazel eyes.
Jasiphae - female, noble, straight. Pale skin, pale blonde hair, pale green eyes.
Iseriah - female, noble, gay. Sun-kissed skin, black hair, brown eyes.
Sebriel - male, bisexual. Brown skin, black hair, black eyes.
Kaedra - You’ll have known her the longest. You can meet her in chapter two, according to my outline, along with her twin brother Kyrisen. She’s smart, flirtatious, and a bit vain and materialistic, though there are some hidden depths to her.
Atheron - He doesn’t really come into play until you’re eighteen, as he is a good bit older than the MC. He has spent a good portion of his life in the southern regions and at sea, as he’s with the navy and deals with the pirates who plague the coast. He’s a bit reserved and his height can be imposing, but he’s a good person.
Senetha - You meet him as an adolescent. He’s friends with Terrisen, though you don’t need to have a good relationship with Terrisen to meet him. He can be somewhat austere at times, but he’s young, just a bit older than you.
Pythia - I believe you meet her in your early adolescence, but this may vary depending on certain factors. She’s sweet-natured, serene, and has a very soothing presence.
Nethica - You meet him in your mid- to late-adolescence. Like many nobles, he has an inflated opinion of himself, but he is also quite charming. He’s fairly hedonistic and quite the rake, and he tends to party with the demimonde (no, that word won’t be used in-game, for those who want to point out that it’s anachronistic) to excess. His behavior changes later in the game.
Mavrys - You meet him not too long after you meet Kaedra and her brother. He’s athletic, playful, and a kind-hearted person. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, bless his heart, but he’s one of the most trustworthy.
Jasiphae - You meet her in your early- to mid-adolescence. She’s demure and considered a paragon of beautiful, delicate Ophaesian noblewomen. Underneath she’s is exceedingly intelligent, with wits to match that of any Mytean priest.
Iseriah - You’re an adolescent when you meet her. She’s a bit wild, openly questioning and rebelling against Ophaesian gender roles. She’s adventurous in many ways, quite the troublemaker, and utterly unpredictable.
Sebriel - You’re either in late adolescence or early adulthood when you meet him. He’s charming, possesses a barbed wit, and is extremely hard to read. He’s one of the most intelligent characters in the game and one of the hardest to truly figure out.
Thanks! That is quite a cast of ROs! Can not wait to meet and interact with them!
I knew you mentioned world-building questions will be answered with the behind-the-scenes work, so I’m just writing these down as a record so I don’t forget.
What manner of religious minorities exist in Ophaesia?
How prevalent is Monathalism outside of Ophaesia?
How familiar would the everyday common Ophaesian be with Monathalist doctrine?
What exactly does Monathalism say about gender roles and homosexuality?
Details on the holy book?
Is their a beta test open for this?
@Ethan_Garrick There is no beta testing yet, she will let us know when it will happen. Please be patient.
And please, to anyone else who wants to beta test, please be patient and just wait until she actually needs beta testers to offer your services.
Thanks for the information
Are any of the other bi ROs going to have a preference for one gender over the other? How is this going to be implemented? Is this going to be an extreme preference, or just a slight one?
I’m really glad this is back! ![]()
My Princess will be the saddest when she realizes she can’t smooch Jasiphae.
I’m looking forward to meeting Atheron.
