@darren_muir I was hoping that wasn’t gonna turn around and bite me.
First I gotta introduce the advisers for the MC, can’t run your place without em aye? Then the paragon and then jump into the story and city building. Not a day can go by without something occuring in this fair city I fear.
@Zanite Hopefully after I release the remake later it meets the same example. o.o
Well, looks like the likes are growing quickly, I might just need to get started on the save system faster then expected o.o
Though keep in mind once I get the effects in, every decision, every response (excluding questions) will matter and affect the game.
i was thinking maybe 3 advisers
- A military adviser
- economy and cstle adviser
- political adviser
it would also be good if we got to pick who we wanted as our advisers like
the one you pick will give you good things and bad for having them in your
service.
P.S. i dont like the thing about the sage i would prefer if he isnt in the
story but that just my opinion its your game at the end of the day.
@darren_muir Appreciate the input. I will take note and add the first one I think I have a character in mind for a military adviser. Castle adviser - heheh I’m afraid that’s the job of the Sage. Though I think I can edit his descriptions a bit to be more suiting to that position…hmm it wouldn’t hurt to give him the job of economic adviser as well…
Political adviser…political…political…hmm I think I can figure someone out. Foreign and National adviser.
I would give a choice of advisers to pick from, but sadly that would count for a ton of coding for even more npc’s.
Paragons are already accounting for quite a bit as is.
thanks for taking my comments and not just ignoring me
also obviously doing this every 2 minutes would be idiotic but i think you
should get to train your army a few times like having the strongest army in
the kingdom but if your also evil there wont be many that can stand against
or something
Of course, I wouldn’t dream of ignoring it
Hehe focusing on just your army would probably get your people a bit jealous =p
But oh, that’s not a bad idea o.o
A means to train your army and improve it…I think we’ll need a stat for that yes…but hmm what to call it.
Hmmm
Convincing
Force for “Peace”
Helpfulness
@faewkless I don’t think being nice ever got anyone to the top though =p
What.
How?
We can “help” them with copious amounts of swords and armies.
How is that not “helpful”?
Are we doing word association now? Those words (Convincing, Force for “Peace”, Helpfulness) came out of nowhere.
@faewkless Help who exactly?
“Help” my enemies lead “together”
I will “help” him and his country
maybe take a page out a of the mass effect game and call it (military
readiness) or something along those lines
lol darren that just might inspire something
This looks promising i’ll definitely be lurking around for a while. Looking forward to what you have in store.
@Brimstone Thank you very much
I hope what I have in stores are exactly what your looking forward to. If not let me know, I’m quite use to the demands of the court.

I chose to spring a trap at the beginning, and it said “nonexistent variable: choice” and then I was stuck on that page.
I can’t get the demo to start. It just goes to that play again screen.
@Zane_Hiam sigh On it…
@CaballeroDeAndromeda Yup locked the game so I could fix the error, don’t want the scenes merging together, a messy grand opening
It’ll be fixed before you can say the names of all the servants in your keep.
