Inspired by the Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks (the fighting system here is based on them, and the beautiful randomness of 6 sided dice), here goes a classic semi-random rogue/RPG-style dungeon crawl. The premise is pretty straightforward, go through the dungeon until you face the ultimate boss. The current playthroughs are ~20,000 words, and the game is “finished” in that it is playable until the end, though I am planning to now expand it laterally with any feedback that I get, plus other ideas and dungeon instances I want to implement (i.e. more variety of rooms to encounter, etc).
The adventure is set in a fantasy world, basically the same one as my other WIP (“Wizard: Genesis”). However, this one is a straightforward adventure, with little to no character development, and no meaningful NPCs to speak of (and no romance…).
-The “dungeon map” is semi-random. Every time you play it’ll be different
-Fighting system uses random dice rolls.
-4 classes to choose from (fighter, cleric, rogue and wizard).
-Multiple skills, spells, etc to choose from.
-7 difficulty levels
-Some illustrations there already, more to come.
-Dozens of magic objects implemented.
As always, any feedback (however brutal and direct) is greatly welcome! (if you find any bugs screenshots are really helpful).
Have fun! (and please answer the poll on post #2!)
