Yep, it’s working now! Thanks for the quick fix! ![]()
No problem! I’m glad it’s working for you, now! Enjoy the update! (:
Interesting setting. At first, I thought it was a traditional fantasy, and after setting up my protagonist with a background of being forced to become a god, I wanted him to firmly walk on the road of rebellion, and was surprised to see the “living experiment” of becoming a god. Suddenly, it shifted from traditional fantasy to cyberpunk-style medieval science fiction, which made me very excited about the future direction!
Will MC follow the fleet out of here? But in the latest chapter, MC’s memories seem to be covered by the captain’s memories. Then I have a question, if them can leave, MC really the last one to leave?Looking forward to updates.
In the next update, if you meet certain criteria, you will have the option to side with the ship and abandon your world for the stars. Unfortunately, the ship regards humans (like your companions) as animals, and has no problem raising an escape vessel up from the ground in a major city and killing everyone. If you reach an understanding with the ship, you will have the option in certain endings to return and help it find a way to ascend without bringing the city down around it.
I meant it to seem like the MC’s memories were bleeding into the Admiral’s (with the strength of it being based on how much MC has developed their power of prophecy by not fighting it). The Admiral (and the rest of the aliens) are dead, even though their physical bodies still, like, exist as material things. The only remnant of their consciousness exists in the minds of oracles and the records of their ship.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it. (:
There is a new update available for the members of my Patreon page! This update will be accessible by the public one week from today. In the update, I’ve completed chapters 5 and 6 (including romance interactions), fixed some spelling/grammar and continuity errors, and written some 91,400 more words.
There are also weekly developer insights that I’ve started doing and new lore/supplementary content, commissioned artwork, and polls that I’m adding constantly, so if that sounds like something you would be interested in, consider becoming a patron!
I’ve updated The Oracle of Phorós, today! In this update, I’ve:
-
-
Fixed various spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors.
-
Finished chapters 5 and 6.
- Includes optional romance content.
-
Written some 91,400 new words.
-
EDIT: Wanted to note that I noticed it was ridiculously difficult to get the romance scenes, so I’ve added more opportunities to increase your relationship threshold with the characters.
I’m curious how to make friends with the ship, I’m only able to stall it until it sleeps.
Originally, you had to choose the “let’s just try approaching it and see what happens” option and walk up to the ship in a group, but I’ve added a peaceful solution so you can resolve things without violence if you’re doing the “I want to try talking with it alone” route.
If you’re asking in general how to increase your relationship with the ship, you essentially have to act like the “Admiral” it expects. So, being concerned about its wellbeing when you initially meet in the dream, not acting suspicious or dismissive when it offers to deepen your connection, and playing along during the dream where you are the Admiral, mostly. During the confrontation, it will also get suspicious if your behavior is contradictory to what it expects (i.e. if you’ve been a jerk to it and then suddenly start being nice out of nowhere, etc.).
You need less than 35 kindness if you want to let the ship continue with its original plan and send a spaceship through the ground in the middle of a major city, killing everyone.
I just realized I forgot to post this here! This illustration of Tychon (princess version) was drawn by the talented PaperCrease! Please check out the social media below if you want to support the artist. (:

Beta testing for The Oracle of Phorós is now open! Yes, you read that correctly – I have somehow written a full game of ~300,000 words (it’s amazing what unemployment can do for productivity, eh?) in about a month and a half.
Because I’m not anticipating a lot of interest, I’m going to be running this beta test a little differently than my other ones. There will be not be multiple rounds, this time. Instead, I’m just going to have a single “round” with ten slots. If you comment here, you will get the link to the finished game. After, you will have one week to give me feedback and tell me which name you would like to be called in the credits. Sign-ups will be accessible for one month, in accordance with the rules for submission. Even if I don’t get ten people to sign-up, the test will close on May 20th, 2026.
Thank you for reading!

Hey! As usual, I’m up for testing!
I was only halfway done with the public content before this dropped so I never commented on this game yet, but yeah, I like it so far!
I’ve loved what I read so far (Tychon and the Ship have been very fun) and would love to help out with beta testing. I’ve beta tested before, but feel free to message me if you have further questions.
Message sent! Thank you for signing up, again. (:
I have sent you a message with further details! Thank you for signing up! (:
I’m definitely interested in beta testing this, but I don’t think I can commit to finishing it in a week, at least not at this time. My own writing is behind schedule, though I know what you mean about having more time being unemployed myself for about 15 and a half months. If I were working full time, I wouldn’t have had time to work on it much if at all. This coming week is going to be pretty busy for me, but I may have more time in mid-May once I get Chapter 4 of my WIP finished and tested.
That’s fine! Testing is going to be open for a month, so just contact me when you’re able to commit to responding within a week. (:
I’d be down for testing~
