Physical: Physical and Natural magic; also determines physical strength and how good you are at noticing things generally.
Mental: Logical and Verbal magic; also determines how much you know and how fast you are at working things out.
Social: Social and Musical magic; also determines how persuasive you can be and how good at reading people you are.
If you find any place where your stats don’t seem to work (or if you think an option should be available to you due to your stats, but it isn’t) please let me know.
I have been considering allowing non-RO characters to become “secondary” ROs, and Alder is definitely one of the characters this would affect. Granted, this isn’t definite, and if it does happen it would probably be just before the finale.

My MC (and I) would be grateful! She… well, she enjoyed their first encounter so much, that even though she’d liked her first year at school, when Professor Karline asked her how it was, she told her she wanted to ‘run off with that elf’…then wrote him a romantic Valentine’s card (granted, she also wrote a friendly one to Karakan because it somehow seemed like a good idea at the time 
), dressed up as an elf for Halloween because of course she did, and promptly seized the opportunity to seek an alliance with elves when Teri suggested it mostly in hopes of meeting him again… Let’s say she’s dedicated and single-minded.

Same, kind of. My MC already didn’t trust people, and after the invitation, mind control and basically being told that whatever she wanted still didn’t matter to anyone at all (and again, being forced into going along with everything,) she trusted them even less than she already did after her experiences in the foster care system. So when the trip to the woods happened (I wish she had more of an idea how little of an idea all the “adults” around her have of what they’re doing at this point) and she met Alder she saw him as an immediate plan b for getting the hell out of there. She didn’t give him her name (she doesn’t really like her name) or Jo Bloggs (and is perfectly willing to use Rowan in my headcannon) but she did eat the fae food, and did it knowingly (I really wish there was a way to indicate this.) She doesn’t mention it to anyone, in fact she outright lies about eating the food, and never mentions the Fae until someone else brings them up as allies. She did, however send Alder a romantic Valentine’s card. I’d like Alder as an RO (even a late one) to be a possibility for her. Bonus (for me, anyway) if he can be added to an existing relationship as a poly.

Oh my MC gave Alder her name and ate the food… knowing full well what the folktales say about that and how true they probably were.

I’ve played that interaction every way possible and I’m still happiest with the outcome where he gives you the pseudonym Rowan because you won’t give him a name yourself. I’m not sure why, really. When I give a character a “plant” name I tend to go with Ivy. But given what’s happening in the story, Rowan feels appropriate, given the tree’s folk magic uses.

Good luck to the author with writing! This used to be one of my favorite WIPs - i love the idea of the not chisen one, the uniforms and most of the characters were interesting (Max, Charlie, Dahlia).
I had problem with how many of the characters there are, i could hardly remember who is who in our friend group (i hate to say it, but if one just don’t choose to spend time with a certain character, it feel like that character didn’t have much to add to the story).
Sadly i lost interest in this story after things became memory wiping/timetraveling/magical courthouse investigation complicated.
