Honestly, @Lucid , the new try to take dagger away option is a really cruel joke.
That was done so that a person could struggle with Red without trying to kill them. Allows both a win or loss, while staying in character.
Red is a menace to all the various MC roles. Just saying.
BTW - my rewrite goes live on Monday -
Post update, my even more OP badass MC:

Terrible choice to choose squire after the sheep job.
squire is good enough for me, I had the most fun as a knight
How’d you manage to get two levels in knight?
Win the Knight contest, and then hone your skills as a Knight in Ludd.
Winning the knights tourney gets you to level one and near the end of the game you get the option to hone your skills as a knight, getting you to level 2
Just those for now. However, we’ll be able to expand further on prestige classes in LH3. Considering the fact that Dark Knight seems to be the equivalent of an Antipaladin in this world, I’d imagine we’d begin getting deeper into corruption and evil divine magic. I’m personally hoping that a Necromancer could quest for a ritual for Lichdom and become immortal.
Maybe for the ending, but not mid-game if you ask me… I’d not mind if we find the way to do it mid-game - because I find it a bit unlikely many’d follow an obviously evil undead king, though there could be ways of circumventing that - and start the preparations from there, but the result only appearing in the ending… Just as long it doens’t end like this, through if it did, could be funny in it’s own way:
“I once knew a Red Mage of Thay
Who dreamed of lichdom some day.
He said he knew how to do it.
But he still managed to screw it up in the funniest way”
Reminisces about the days of LOaW
