Its interesting, I only played though that once I’m waiting for your next update. So being hollow means you’re missing your some of your insides. How I would have done hollow is to take the MC’s heart causing them to become apathetic to the point connecting with people becomes almost impossible and reacting to the world around them seems almost meaningless. They are numb, their world becoming nothing more than a bleak melancholy grey.

There is a good reference for the kind of thing I’m talking about. Have you ever played the WIP Blood for Poppies? There is a character in there that has the same type of problem I’m referring to, she also has no heart. The term hollow fits her quite nicely.

“Hollow” means to literally miss your (physical) heart and a good chunk of your ribcage. What kind of effect it has on the MC remains to be seen :smile:

In Blood for Poppies the heartless one is Carmelle (or something like that? I don’t remember her name), but it’s because the Doctor messed with something in her brain. She’s cold and cruel because of it, but she still has her physical heart.

Is that how it was? I haven’t played it for a while. I think the idea is still a good one and she is a good reference to my point. When I think of a hollow person this is what I picture.

Yep, that’s one take, but there are a lot of interpretations left :slight_smile: This one is literal: hollow, as in having an empty hole in your chest, missing organs and things.

I’m trying to find what’s wrong with a loop inside the game: it happens when you are a a doll and choose to remain quiet about the pills instead of telling Dagger: if any of you happen to come across it, can you tell me what you did? (Build, eye color, if you were nice or snappish to Dagger, etc…).

@lycoris I’ve gone down the same route (I believe), however I haven’t stumbled across the loop the problem again so I guess it may be patched?

I went the doll route twice and did not run into a loop-error. I was blond blue eyed. I’ll try a different combo next time. I was semi-hostile to Dagger… saying I was not one of them.

Edit - i know the heartless or hole-person idea is your favorite but i like the doll thing the best so far.
