Hi, I’m Ann. I’ve decided to try something a little different from what I usually write—a slice-of-life story. It might not be a typical one, but I hope I’m getting close. I’m still fairly new to interactive fiction, but I already love it. One thing that always frustrated me about traditional writing was having to stick to a single storyline while constantly wondering, “But what if…?” So, here’s my take on “what if?” ``` 🔩⚙️🔧 ``` As the CEO of a large heavy-industry company, you could live anywhere. Yet you live in a shabby old tenement where you own the entire top floor and are surrounded by unsettling, irritating neighbors. You keep going, trying to forget the day everything changed. You are one of seven friends haunted by a traumatic event from your past: the day Amy fell into a coma. Over ten years later, her family is planning to take her off life support. Is Mel a side piece Ro? If so how?? Seen a choice the made it seem like it but couldn’t choose it. And can you add the icons for the flirty choices couldn’t tell if I was picking the right ones ---

Currently, romance options are limited to the main friend group, aside from flings. Any new flings will be clearly indicated. ---

Chapter 2 Update EA (43K) The new side RO appears in one route as a consequence of earlier choices. For now, it’s not listed among the romance options. I’ll add the side RO later, once I’m sure who’s actually staying and who’s only temporary. ---
