I don’t remember the details but in a scripted t.v. show there was a female named Sloane who was a main character. So I know there are female Sloanes out there.

Edit: in Ferris Bueler’s Day Off the girlfriend’s name was Sloane and I remember the t.v. show “Limitless” on CBS referencing her… which is why I connected it to a scripted show :slight_smile: … My mind is weird. shrug.

I forced my friend to look up gender neutral names for me, and Sloane was one of them on the list he presented. I’ve never met anyone that goes by it but it seems neutral in my opinion.

Good start. I like the description of the dress in the beginning. The stat sheet looks interesting as well but sometimes I wish it was not a either/or for many of those.

Being both chivalrous and risque is but one example for my personality.

Regardless! I look forward to your story and its “down to earth” vibe I’m getting from it now.

How’d you get your game to look how it does? The Stats and Restart buttons are different and the layout with the different font just looks so much nicer.

Also, I haven’t read much but so far, holy shit your writing is good.

Thanks for being considerate, I appreciate it. To be honest I’ve always been bad at starting things and not finishing them. For a person like myself I always need someone there pushing me to keep going. I’ve got the motivation to continue this right now but I can get discouraged quite easily at times.

Yeah, I intended for the age gap between the MC and Harper to be quite large from the beginning. Silver Fox, maybe? If your Harper is male, of course. Though he might not be old enough for that one yet.

Hahaha, I wish I could take credit for that, I really do. But I believe that it only looks different because it’s being hosted on Dashingdon instead of Dropbox. I agree about Dashingdon looking better than Dropbox, though.

No problemo, I know what you mean, I’m actually the exact same with things! It’s fustrsting eh? Wanting or knowing you need to do something but being unable to motivate yourself. I’d like to give you a sound solution but I’m afraid I’ve yet to find one myself.

On a lighter note! Many people seem to be quite interested idea, so that’s good, right?
And I’m sure plenty of people here wouldn’t hesitate to help get you into the flow again if you do lose inspiration.

Alright so, update. The bad news is that this project has temporarily been shelved. I started writing without really knowing where I wanted to go, and so after I reached a certain point my brain just went kaput. So if a mod could come in and close this thread, I would appreciate it.

The good news is that I have started a new project. Well, two, actually. I’m switching between them when I get tired of doing work on the other, haha. Both of these games will have some queer themes, though the main focus won’t be this. So you’ll have the option to play a straight person If you want. I don’t won’t to make anyone feel like they’re being left out while playing.

When a demo will put up for either, my rough guess would be within a month for one. The other, I have absolutely no idea. I’m not going to reveal too much about either, but I am looking for someone to use as a consultant, basically. Someone I can bounce ideas off of, and maybe ask to do some testing or editing every once in awhile. I am not asking for a coder. If you’re interested in being my project bro, just send me a message and we can talk about it.

I repeat: I am not asking for someone to code my game for me. I’m just asking for a sort of… sounding board, or something.

Please only volunteer if you can give really good constructive advice. I will understand and appreciate anyone wanting to help, but If you aren’t capable of explaining yourself well or analyzing writing then please think twice about offering your help. I don’t want to sound rude, I just really need someone capable of providing good feedback.

Bonus points if you’re capable of riding my ass so I keep making progress.
