Thank you for your work!

Yay! We need more of these, honestly. You’d think there would already have been some, but surprisingly no. Egypt is one of my favorite settings.

Wow, so my Patron will return! Loving it. I’ll be keeping an eye out for that demo!

@Vexius_Krexius I’ll make sure to tag you in the release post! Thanks again!

I think there is one more game set in Egypt, and the story takes place in the Ptolemaic period. I don’t remember much, but it think it was called Choice of Alexandria.

I have just seen this for the first time and am shocked that I haven’t played it… I like the concept, has the demo been taken down due to being released? Is it fully released or scheduled for release?

I just found it on the CoG website. I have sinned twice, and didn’t even know it. Sekhmet forgive me. Looks like I’ll be playing both here soon. Thank you!

Question about your next project, if you wouldn’t mind. I quite enjoyed the class choice in Endless Night, particularly Spellsword. Can we expect something similar in your next game(s)?

You’re very welcome!

The next project (for now, I call it THS) will most likely be a trilogy, but every book will have a separate main story. The MC will be the same in all the books and the relationships will span all three books as well. There will be a bigger story that will have its culmination in the third book, but you won’t need to wait for all three books to be out to feel like you finished the storyline. The first two books have separate antagonists.

As for the class system, it won’t be there, but there will be something different. The MC will be able to follow one of five paths that will determine their powers. I can’t tell you more just yet, but you’ll find out when the demo is out.

I can only tell you that the path system was (in terms of mechanics) inspired by a recent game called Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

The game will also focus more on relationships than it was the case in ToEN.

Wow, you have some plans. I can’t wait to see what you have in store! All the luck, my friend!

…You…you play the Owlcat Pathfinder games…? Are you…looking for a co-writer? I…I can submit an application…

I’ll definitely need it!

I have played both Kingmaker and WoTR, that’s true. I truly appreciate the offer and the enthusiasm, but at this point, I’ll have to say no. I think it’s best to know right away when you want to write a game with someone, so that you can include ideas from both parties. Perhaps some other project will come about?

Still, I hope you like the demo when it’s released.

That’s actually very possible. I haven’t thought of that before, but I might include one. It would be be quite suitable, especially for that one character I mentioned before. The one who can have a bond with Sekhmet. Thanks for the suggestion! ^^

Haha, had to try!

On another note, is it safe to say we’ll see a khopesh available in your next game? It’s inclusion in Temple was obviously no surprise, but man do we not see enough of them outside of straight up Egypt-set games, like the loads of East Asian weapons you can wield in a lot of other fantasy games.

Indeed, she has been heavily depicted with them! They are definitely my favorite Egyptian blade, and I personally would love to see them represented more or get to wield them myself outside of Egypt!
