Actually, Pieces, I might be wrong, but I thought the author meant that the paths were to tailored to the personalities of the RO’s involved.
So some might be romantic from the get go, some might be friendships that blossom into something more, some might be purely physical, some might be purely physical that evolve into an actual emotional relationship, etc,etc, instead of meaning that you can relationships with RO that seem out of character for them.
Although I can see Kat doing the stereotypical college like thing of “I had to follow the rules my entire life now there are no rules, so now everything goes! Woohoo!” but Kat doesn’t strike me as someone who would reach that conclusion anytime fast, at least without help.
Now I can picture Sarah being a bad influence on Kat in the name of being a “big sister” for her.

Ha! Kat seems the type to want to experience things as much as possible, but I think you’re right. While experiencing a relationship may be something she wants to try, an “anything goes” sort of relationship is probably not something that would occur to her right off the bat. Not, like you said, without help, anyway.
Looking forward to the Damon centric parts as well.
Training Damon ought to be a lot of fun.
Kat makes me think of how Tali was in the beginning of ME and Sarah reminds me of Miranda and all her fancyness and stuff. Now to figure out who fits into what grouping of characters from ME and mess with @Dolphinzgirl because of my musings mwuahahaha!!!

Kat reminds me of Liara, with a bit of Tali mixed in; curiosity and naivete, in one adorable package.
Sarah is Miranda-ish with a large helping of Kasumi, being a career thief and all.
Owen feels a lot like a Zaeed and Wrex Sundae, with some Garrus fudge adding to his humor and gung-ho-ed-ness (that’s a word now). Perhaps also crowned with an Ashley.
Damon is slathered in Miranda’s cockiness. … That sounded less wrong in my head.
Alex is quite a bit like Joker, though I’m not sure that counts, since Joker’s not technically a party member. Maybe some Garrus or James seasoned in for his sense of humor.
John is very much an angry Wrex, with some Jack mixed in, as well as some Samara for flavor. Maybe a hint of Grunt sauce.

Also, yes, Owen should be the one calibrating the weapons. He’s apparently the gun expert anyway, so it even makes sense in-universe. 
Garrus was my favorite but get back on track people!

@jellisthompson I thought about adding something like that, but to make it as reactive as I would like would just involve too many variables and get really complicated really fast. It might be something I add in later as I get more comfortable with coding, though.

Yup, there will be at least one conversation where it comes up.
@stsword more or less has the right of it when it comes to the romances. So far as the romances go, they all play out differently depending on who you’re romancing. Within those romances, there’s a lot of variety. For example, the romance is going to be a little different depending on how compatible your worldviews are or whether you take a more slap-slap-kiss route. I don’t think it changes enough to call it separate routes, but every romance has at least a couple flavors to choose from. Plus, you can also opt to start a romance in the present day, which I suppose counts as a separate path.
Also, you guys are pretty right about Kat. Even before Owen and Sarah get a chance to teach Kat about fun concepts like “Spring Break” and “body shots,” Kat has an easier time wrapping her head around the physical part of a relationship than the emotional side.

I’m really amazed at this game and how awsome it is. I can’t wait to see the finished product it’s going to be amazing.
I’m sad that in a few months I’ll be missing all of this til the end of the year because of Graduation and boot camp. I’ll treasure my time til it begins. I can’t leave you without ME factoids/random just yet
