If I ever do a closed beta everyone here will be welcome to join. I doubt it though, and usually Choice of Games is in charge of doing their own betas. So yes, I'll try to take us through to the end :)

Ha ha ha ha so naive but kind bye the way I think you run your own beta unless you ask them to do it for you otherwise if you host an open beta then just do it on this thread or create a new thread and have a closed beta where you have us the beta testers give you our emails then you give us a email with a link or just private message us the link

Gotcha. I'll probably do the email collection option then.

What’s the thread gonna be called

Also you could make a private thread and then invite whoever you want by the way what college are you going to

I mean something that is a permanent upgrade to your tavern on the same level as the observatory or great hearth.

VCU. I don't know about the thread yet I'm not that far. When I make it I'll pm people who seemed interested in the project to let them know.

Verand, there will be more upgrades, and you will even be able to make your tavern larger and offer more services like rooms for rent, a microbrewery, or high stakes gambling rooms. These are ultimately upgrades that will unlock achievements and alternate endings to the game.

What type of romance will there be?

There will be a chance to romance the main adventurer and a few others along the way (other townsfolk) honestly it's not my priority right now...

Will we be able to heavily influence and shape the farmer if we chose him as the adventurer we met?

Not sure about their personality bit you will be in control of their overall fate. Ergo, send the farm boy into a troll lair without any training or weapons, he will probably die

Will there be any randomized outcomes?

I might make a few for dedicates repeaters but they won't greatly affect the ending

Since I am such a repeater, I hope you’ll add them.

I just thought of a tricky trick to play on the customers – offer to buy them the last round, and you’re open 24/7, so…

Not that I would do anything like that myself, nope. :innocent:

Looking forward to what is to come for this one, it is a different beast to be sure.

Hey I won’t be posting most likley for the next five days I have to take my kids to get costumes for Halloween and things are going to be hectic I might post but most likely I’ll be just breezing through good bye oh and @JTAL be nice idea kudos to you ma’am

You’re welcome, although it is ma’am, not sir.

I’m…BACK!

I have a small update to bestow. You can now choose a location for your tavern, be it the Dockside, the town square, or the crossroads across from the Inn. If you are next to the inn, you get to meet the innkeeper, and make your first impressions on him. Also, though, if you choose to hire some help cleaning up in the morning, a new character will be available, Terv Mahni. You also get to go into town and talk to the thatcher, and debate the merits of switching to a clay shingle roof.

Same link!

Next up you’ll see the adventurer after his/her first quest. I’m still working on that, so it’s not up yet.
