An upside down holiday, where peasants dress as kings and kings as fools and boys as girls, etc.
Well here’s how it goes so far:
Day 1: Gala. Day 6: plot. Day 10: plot. Day 14: Plot
Day 2: Plot Day 7: Children’s day. Day 11:day of lights. Day 15: Gala
Day 3:Hero day. Day 8: plot. Day 12: plot
Day 4: plot~. Day 9: Craft day Day 13: Day of yesterday
Day 5: Harvest day (food theme)
Plot days are days when something that isn’t related to the Festival happens (“hey let’s go hunting!”), free days (“you increased your ____ stat!”), and/or set up days (booths and stuff)
I’m planning for the story to be 3 cycles long (4 chapters) each cycle getting a different plot twist (PLOT TWST: Nothing you did mattered, everyone you know and loved died as fire balls rain from the sky. Jk (or am I?))

@Katgirl64 What about Day 16? Day 16: High King 2Ton Day - Is a day when everyone comes together to drink in my fine name and dance in my court while I let the peasant kids sit on my knee and I tell them stories of my many misadventures, and I make it rain gold on the wenches.

Especially since day 13 and 14 are Emperor GreenWolf day. It is a day when many fires of anarchy are set due to all the rebellions that came about during my reign

I really love this plot! From what I’ve read of the WIP it is going to just make me giggle all through it. I love seeing a game that has light hearted moments but never pointlessly so.
Looking at your “calendar” made me shamelessly think of Harvest Moon. XD

It’s so hard to find people who even know what Harvest Moon is, let alone play it. It does look a little like a season calendar does it? That was completely unintentional but the video games I play do tend to leak into my writing 
The worst thing about breaking my DS was that I couldn’t finish Rune Factory. 
Although I heard it doesn’t actually have an end. I really enjoyed it. I also liked the gameboy Harvest Moon when I played it. I’d have liked the games if the friendships and romances were in more depth though than having to run and give everyone an item a day as if love is a thing that can be bought, and then unlocking a cut-scene. But I liked growing stuff and fighting monsters and exploring and things.

Yes! Others who have played that beautfuil game! My first Harvest Moon was for the Gamboy Advance~ (loved that system it’s where I discovers Harvest Moon and Fire Emblem) I played almost everyone for the handheld and game cube. XD I plan to get Rune Factory 4 since I’m buy my friends 3DS.
Yeah the only one that I know that has an end, end is the girl story of Girl&Boy for PSP.

my favorite harvest moon game is Animal Parade, which I felt had the most harvest moon spirit plus it’s one of the best starting games imo. My favorite Rune Factory is Tides of Destiny 'cause I love the gameplay controls and the world. I also love laughing at how everyone’s okay with Sonia being in Azel’s body. Rune Factory definitely handles character development better In the later games like RF3 (I love Sofia and Pia (if you can’t tell )).
I have vague recollections of playing Fire Emblem too, only I may have imagined it.
And no, it doesn’t help to know it was the worst of the games. I’m missing out on so much now. How’s the 3DS compared to the DS? I was a bit worried about the idea of having 3D. Although I can’t afford to get a new DS anyway and I’ve still not played all the games I’ve bought for my PC so I probably shouldn’t.
Animal Parade sounds great. They all sound great. I’m jealous.

There is apparently a slider on the side that turns it 2D so thankfully I should be able to play my old Pokemon games and the many others. >\\\< I haven’t played with it yet though she found it at work and no one came back for it. (I really shouldn’t be buying it, like every other college kid I shouldn’t be wasting money…TT__TT)
@angelofthebroken Get Fire Emblem: Awakening. You will not regret it. It is by far my favorite 3DS game so far. It’s so amazing and pretty and fun and and and *hyperventilates* The second is Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.
@fairygodfeather so far FE:A had the best 3D ( I played my entire first playthrough with 3D on) but in most of the other games it’s just annoying and I turn it off. I’m a very lucky duck, 1) I’m an only child and 2) my dad is super geeky so he’ll usually buy/plays with me any game I want (also he watches anime which is why he has been declared The Coolest Dad at the Luchtable by my friends)
