Approach & talk to him when he plays the harmonica, then write him a letter, choose the amorous option.
And then proceed to storyline to eventually cry in the end.

The only way to have a kind of âhappy endingâ with Silas is that you die after him, but you have to control your stats carefully. There will be a route where after you being granted permission, let him return to the war, he died, you slipped into the camp and eventually killed by mortals. Story ends.
